what is the injury situation? How is Moldin? and are there any other injuries?

O looked excellent today. BJGE was hitting the holes hard and the Branch and Welker were on point today.

D is looking better. After those first two series by the Eagles, the secondary had some pretty good coverage on the Philly receivers. Pass rush looked just okay though. Some pressure on Young but the Eagles O-line seemed to win most of the battles.

And how the hell is it the OFFENSE who gets the credit for the defense being 32nd in yards but 10th in points?

(BTW, the Pats should remain 10th in points allowed. Would've been tied for 9th without that last TD.)

I agree the D should get alot more credit than they do, but both units deserve credit - Hell - they even had a KO return that went to the 30!

Well, by Dierdorf's thinking, the Pats offense scoring so much, they have a ton of possession. That forces the opposing offense to throw the ball more and not control the clock. The only problem with Dierdorf's reasoning is that the Pats have trailed in TOP on several occasions and still won..

slow start, solid finnish. Hope we don't get into a habit of that. Well the first part at least. Saftey play has to improve as well.

They had one slow series... They they took off.. not sure how you can complain about that..

Vollmer went out as did Ihedigbo.

That being said, the Pats were the benefactors of a missed Facemask call that should have been called on Ninkovich..

Yes but offsetting penalties and no play

On an Eagle sack in the 1st qtr there was a helmet to helmet on Brady that wasn't called so things evened out.

I really hope Price was hurt.

Doesn't bode well if Tiquan Underwood is ahead of you on the depth chart.

I agree.

On Molden, Reiss:

Molden received attention from trainers and, despite lobbying to stay on the field, he was held out the remainder of the drive.

So, can't be too bad.

I don't think he is hurt - I just don't think they think he is good enough.

Underwood reminds me of me at WR
All speed and limp hands flailing at the ball

lol, my prediction was 38-21. Wish they didn't get that garbage TD and kept it at 38-13 though, dam.

You will fly up the prediction rankings with that call - good for you. Enjoy your week.

Good work Patriots. Good toughness, job done. TFB the man.

I feel like this was the first complete game we've played in some time. Obviously they played well against the Jets, and Chiefs, but those offenses are terrible. The D didn't really do anything incredible.

It was great to see the offense roll after the first 3 and out. Brady looked bad on that first drive. Then it's like he woke up, and played like TFB. Solid effort all around, and I was very pleased. After that first TD, I was afraid I'd be in here this evening talking about one and done in the playoffs because any team with speed was going to blow the doors off us. I'm thrilled that isn't the case

:D

I expect a game similar to the OAK game. We're likely going to gameplan around stopping Mccoy ala stopping McFadden, BB won't let their best guy beat us. I expect him not to be shut down but contained within reason, and VY will probably put up alot of yards through the air, move the ball like Campbell did but the end result will be a double digit win for us IMO considering their injuries. He's bound to make mistakes.

Hate to toot my own horn but *toot toot*

Not much to complain about today. I still think we benefitted though from alot of poor QB play and some drops by Desean. But I think when Chung/McCourty/Spikes/Fletcher come back we're not going to need those breaks, defense is headed in the right direction. Very fortunate we had Palko, VY, and Painter while the D was depleted. Now let's get healthy and continue the momentum!

Playcalling was much better, when we had success on the ground we were persistent with the run and kept Brady from continuing to get hammered. When we were able to slow the Eagles pass rush and take advantage of their depleted secondary we went pass heavy. Good game by BOB.

Just concerned about Price is Tiquan Underwood is getting in there ahead of him. And wish we'd get to see Vereen get meaningful carries or at least some kick returns soon.

Edelman looks great on D, if he really proves to be a solid dime back that's huge for us.

There was also clearly a roughing the passer early when the defender took Tommy down and then rolled him over and threw him into the ground...

Deirdorf and Co. seemed so focused on the Dream Team today that they hardly noticed what we were doing or what was being done to us... It was like an ode to shattered dreams there for a while... They supposedly aren't out of it yet pending Thursday yet they wonder about our playoff chances... Give me a break.

Nice win tonight. A few observations:

1. With the win an the Bills loss they now have an effective 3 gam lead over the Jets and Bills
2.When Brady runs I expect his leg braces to explode like Forest Gump.
3.Dan Dierdoff is senile
4.Greg Gumble sounds as if he is asleep.
5. Great pass by Young and great catch by Cooper. Arrington had coverage but no one could defend a perfect play.
6. That tennis elbow thingy is not too bad.
7. OMG, the Patriots defense is dead last in YPG.
