Nice win. They made stops when they had to. The offense got it in gear early after the first series. They combined a good measure of running the ball with the pass, when needed. The run blocking wasn't nearly as good as it has been in the past, but it was sufficient enough.

The secondary just continues to get mauled.. Molden went out and didn't return. Ihedigbo did go out, but he returned.

Edelman looks very solid out there as a CB. I think he's got the potential to be a very good slot corner..

Anyone still worried about Brady's arm?

Brady was pretty much on point all day today. The defense has been outstanding too, as of late. I'll gladly eat all the crow there is to be eaten relative to that subject. I didn't really think they would show significant improvement as the season wen on, but to play that well without the two best players in your secondary, as well as many other contributors is just fantastic. Hats off to Bill Belichick, that's a heck of a coaching job.

No. He was off on a couple, but today was mostly the receivers dropping the ball. Gronk, Welk, and Branch... But they came through when needed.

Loved Brady tucking the ball and running it a couple times..

OMG... they had more yards than we did, and we all know that yards are the most important thing! /sarcasm

Not concerned about the yards today, I wanted the Pats to shutdown McCoy, we game planned for that, executed it brilliantly and blew out the Eagles.

what was the final score? I was shifted to a Tebow at sandiego

Great coverage on Desean Jackson when he made the tackle on Young on the scramble.

Jackson isn't easy to cover for a regular CB but Edelman stuck to him like glue, you can't fault him for effort that's for sure.

You know what is amazing about this statement? It might actually be right.

It wouldn't surprise me if Edelman starts next season with a number in the 20s.

Dan Dierdorf may be the only person in America who hasn't yet noticed that the 31st team in the NFL for Defensive Yardage is Green Bay.

It was painful to listen to that clueless old coot bloviate.

Another Sunday and another day to rant on the refs.

after 30 years of watching football I learn now that

- hitting a punt receiver after he calls fair catch is ok

- dbs are not even entitled to the space they are standing in if a wr wants to go there.

- pushing off by a wr is defensive holding

and several other first quarter wtfs? that I flat out can t remember anymore.

ah well. At least it was a blowout. Hopefully all the injuries arent serious. There was some hard hitting going on there for a while.

kudos to edel-dude. A man for all seasons.

Great win. Only think I hate about blowouts is when they cut the games out. F*** you very much CBS.

I wasnt a huge fan of Edelman but I am really liking him on defense.

I am really getting a much better feeling about the D. Sure, they are going to give up yards, but the MOST important stat is not giving up points. I did not see Philly's last TD (Thanks NBC) but garbage time is just that. I know from now on, they are supposed to be playing the Little Sisters of the Poor, but more good games will just bolster the confidence all the way across the team.

With the balance they are starting to show on Offense, I think we could be in for a couple more fun months.

Hats off to Belichick, Johnson, Patricia, and Boyer. Not sure how they are doing it, but the defense is making stops..

And how the hell is it the OFFENSE who gets the credit for the defense being 32nd in yards but 10th in points?

(BTW, the Pats should remain 10th in points allowed. Would've been tied for 9th without that last TD.)

after 30 years of watching football I learn now that

- dbs are not even entitled to the space they are standing in if a wr wants to go there. Saw that too.. Avant tried to run over Adams, yet it's Adam's fault??

That being said, the Pats were the benefactors of a missed Facemask call that should have been called on Ninkovich..

slow start, solid finnish. Hope we don't get into a habit of that. Well the first part at least. Saftey play has to improve as well.

Nice win....D played well..Brady and the O was on fire
