1 ~ The Packers are already Super Bowl Champions, going for two.

2 ~ The Packers are 10-0.

3 ~ The Packers are generally considered to be launching a new Dynasty.

4 ~ Many people think the Packers have a good shot at going 19-0.

5 ~ That means that these Packers have a shot at being considered The Greatest Team Ever.

6 ~ The Lions, on the other hand, would be 5-5 if not for two spectacular ComeBacks.

7 ~ The Lions, in fact, were very recently The Worst Team Ever.

8 ~ Aaron Rodgers is now considered by many to be the greatest QB in the Game.

9 ~ Matt Stafford, on the other hand, is dealing with a broken finger in his throwing hand.

10 ~ I don't give a rat's @$$ about any of that.

Morlocks by 10.

Age is relative, don't you think? ;)

My philosophical opinion:

In the Belichick Era, the Patriots have played 4 Super Bowls, and are 3-1 in those games.

The Morlocks, on the other hand, are 4-0.

Mmmmmm....Eloi.....hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

HG Wells and football. Powerful, OTG.

Meh...these packers are the 09 Colts.

Kind of reaching with that comparison, aren't you?

I'm not exactly sure what the current Lions has to do with with any of those championship teams. Bobby Lane and Doak Walker are old enough to be great-grandfathers to anybody on the current squad.

Besides, if you're going to count those wins, shouldn't you also be including the three losses by the Pats that happened more recently?

If the Packers do go 19-0 - something which I highly doubt will happen, by the way; keep in mind they're only half way there - it will suck for Pats fans because fans of opposing teams will attempt to taunt us regarding the 2007 season. But I don't know why you're worried about the mythical 'Greatest Team Ever' title, because by default it doesn't go to that Pats team anyways - whoever it is, it has to be a team that won the championship.

On the other hand, wouldn't it be nice for somebody, anybody, to top what the Dolphins have been clinging on to for so many years?

It's so exciting that Detroit's Thanksgiving game isn't a joke this year! I think they can do it; the Packers look like a great team, but we've seen some great teams in the last few years, and not one of them has been able to win out, and I don't think GB will either. Plus, I don't want them to!

I don't actually mind the dolphins having it. That was a pretty good team.

Though i think the 89 49ers are the #1 team.

Do not understand Morlocks and Eloi, and if I look it up will only forget later in the day.. so no sense in doing that.

As much as I want Detroit to win, Green Bay will emerge victorious..

Except for the fact that Aaron Rodgers is playing now in another stratosphere when compared to Manning in 09, and he also is money in the playoffs. The Packers probably won't go undefeated, but anyone who thinks they aren't the most Super Bowl ready team in the NFL is kidding themselves.

I'm going with Detroit at home. Detroit will put points on the board. Detroit wants this game more then Green Bay and will make a statement.
What if: Green Bay goes undefeated to the Superbowl and meet the Patriots. Then who would Mercury Morris root for?

I'm totally rooting for the Packers today, the Lions are classless thugs and I've lately been delighting in their failure. The Packers, OTOH, are a very classy and well run organization.

GO PACK!

The Pack will NOT got undefeated they shouldn't be now but they were gifted a game or two by the other team.

On thing i find funny here nad with the "experts" is everyone rips and shreads how bad New Englands pass Defense is anyone wnat to guess who is number 31 I'll give you 3 guesses

Does it rhyme with "Green Day"? :p

Ah, well...

NEXT time, Morlocks.
