Bob was on the Gresh and Zo today. After listening to part of the interview while I was in the car, I couldn't help but think what an incredible human being he is.

It could be very easy for him to take to the airways and pat himself on the back, not only for what he has done with the Patriots, but also in his personal life. But instead, amongst other things, he talks about how important it is for every person to give back to the community. If you're married, be a responsible person, and stay together for the kids. And thank those who work for us (military, nurse, police officers, firefighters).

I hope they put a link up soon, so those that missed can hear it. He really is an inspiriational man.

He does come accross as a man that cares....now if only he could stop charging me $40 to park in a stdioum that is a nightmare to get in and out of....

I would love to see Kraft on Mazz and Felger same with BB. I would like to see them talk tough with Bob. Perfect example, ask him if they didn't go after Crennel because of money.

Ummmm....they hung 34 points up on Crennel's defense with a hurt Brady and the rushing attack getting 157 yards.

Wow - - You just don't stop beating your upside down drum do you? We all can read your posts and you are continually mistaking your arse from your elbow, dude.

"If you tweet the beat writers which I have its Turf toe. The Pats will never say its anything more than just a toe. But turf toe doesn't really heal up unless you rest it, Kolb can't start at QB with it. Its ridiculously painful. So I think the Pats should consider resting him a couple weeks. he's not giving them anything right now anyway."

5 days later, 20att for 81yds rushing, 25 yds receiving: 106 total yards

"The parallels to Sinden and Jacobs are starting to show. At the end Sinden had lost him mind and ability to evaluate talent and Jacobs was just looking to make money. A Red Sox collapse might be only to jolt the Krafts back into the real world. They seem more concerned than winning on the Balance Sheet than the field. Did not sign one TOP 50 Free Agent. This team Sux."

"I hate to tell you I told you so, but I like many have been right on with this team and where its going.
I will go BIGGEST problem down.
No talent on the Defense.
A poorly coached Defense.
Hate to say it but the QB is getting older and when QB's get older they throw more picks. Marino, Kelly, Warner, Favre, Montana, Manning(yes fanboys, I know brady is better)
Stubborness. This is the biggest, the Patriots had chances to bring in some veteran talent at reasonable dollars. They bargained shopped.
Now they can't blitz late because they don't trust they can pressure the QB or the guys behind can cover it."

Next game: 5 sacks against the Jets and a 37-16 win in the Meadowlands

The Salary Cap, the call of the Desperate Patriot fan.
Three Patriots make big money. Tom, Vince, and Mankins.
Meanwhile the Eagles, found a way to sign Asomougha, Babin, Jenkins, Vick, and they already have Jackson, Rodgers-Cromartie and Samuel at pretty big money.
Jets are 10 mill under the cap and have Revis, Harris, Ferguson, Pace, Cromartie, Holmes, Mangold.
The Salary cap since about 2004 is easy to maneuver around. And its going up in 2013 after the 2012 contracts are sure to bring in MORE revenue for the league.
Of course, the Pats continue to wait to the last minute on every good player they have, and that's saying something because they have like 6 and 5 of them are on offense.'

Nice comparisons - - we all wish the Pats were in the NYJ and Eagles situations right now!

Broken record this Darolyn is. Would be great to get his/her stock predictions and make billions trading the opposite.

The poster is a Jet fan:(

I would love to see Kraft on Mazz and Felger same with BB. I would like to see them talk tough with Bob. Perfect example, ask him if they didn't go after Crennel because of money.

mazz hates football and the patriots.

he's a squeaky voiced red sox pink hat who almost broke down and cried when the RS collapsed.

if i were a moron talk radio caller (as opposed to a moron internet poster;)...i'd light him up.

Couldn't they ask Belichick about this at one of his press conferences? If they really wanted to?

Something tells me Felger and Mazz's tough guy persona would melt into a puddle of piss if they actually were able to get Kraft into the studio. It's easy to talk tough when you're sitting behind a microphone.

Alot've ppl hate Felger, but he's pretty consistent about being a **** to everyone. He had Jonathan Kraft on, and didn't back down from his hatred of the "value" system.

It's unfortunate that this thread has devolved into a discussion over radio hosts. I encourage the people who read this to listen to the interview. Kraft is not without his flaws, and is someone I tend to have a non-malicious laugh at. You can say whatever you'd like about how he's built his businesses but the fact of the matter is that the guy has been highly successful in everything he's undertaken. This interview shows a man who has lost his wife prematurely. I know that the previous sentence has appeared a lot but take a second to let what it means sink in. I think that it speaks to the character of this man how well he conducts himself, how much he meant to the ratification of the new CBA, and how he is so visibly trying to maintain his wife's legacy. He has raised a son who is adept enough to run this organization after his life ends, and ultimately has left an enduring mark. There's a lot to respect about Bob Kraft, and for a young guy like myself there's a lot that can be learned.

Mr Kraft is intensely patriotic and compassionate -- I've never heard him angrier than he was about the neglect of his fellow-citizens at the time of Katrina.

What one can learn from him is this.

There are two sorts of wisdom, according to Machiavelli: the wisdom of judging for yourself and the wisdom of judging the wisdom of others. If you're going to be a leader in any large and complex organization you need that second skill. Evidently, Mr Kraft has it in a very high degree (his son, Jonathan, says that he's a great judge of people). He's determined and prepared to take risks with no resentment if things don't work out. I wish that all the people whom I've worked with had those qualities!

And the toughness he's showing going on with his duties this season when his life has lost its centre is just amazing.

Simply, a great man.

Just remember this - if there were no Bob Kraft, our current home town team would be in St. Louis today. If Mr. Kraft was greedy, the team would be in Connecticut. He alone kept the team in Foxboro. He's been one the best sports owners (Walter Brown is another) in New England history. And it's not Kraft who sets coordinator and assistants salaries, it's BB. The BS piles too high about him sometimes; as Mike mentioned above, he is a great man.

I would love to hear Krafty rip Felger and Massarotti to shreds in an interview...those two talk tough non-stop on Kraft, but surely they'd cower if Kraft was in studio with them :D
I've been critical of Krafty Bob throughout the years, but it doesn't change my opinion that he is a great owner and we're lucky to have the Brookline boy....

Take the train from south station. It's twelve bucks.
