I just heard this on the Troy Brown show...NO WONDER Bruschi and a lot of the D was upset...

yeah kind of old news. not sure to take it as a fact or rumor but i heard about Fisher smiling and what not.

better hope its a fake rumor..cuz if he did.. i lost every little bit of respect

I have no respect for the Titans.

Disgraceful team.

i imagine the Pats have a long collective memory, however many years it takes...revenge is a dish best served cold...

I still cant believe Del Rios comments about the spear to brady... two very classless acts by two teams in a row.
I didnt hear that about Fisher and the rest of the Titans, but they were clearly playing dirty especially when they realized they couldnt hang with the pats and their playoff chances were gone.

It was from Troy himself...so take that for what it is..yes it's old news in the fact that the fans know the team was upset..but the laughing and snickering?? I missed that one..and hearing it from someone on the team I think makes it MORE than a rumor...

The fact that Troy repeated this on his show indicates it was more than just a rumor, and more than just a "caught up in the moment" reaction from our guys.

For years, I have been snickering and laughing at Fisher's porn star mustache and baby mullet.

Forget about it. Their done, we're alive. They're last week, lets move on.

If TB made a point of it this far down the road, then it was a pretty big deal. I remember an interview (Bruschi mabey) ealier in the week that said the titans were so bad they got under Troy's skin, which is really hard to do.

What a bunch of classless morons, hope they enjoy the offseason.

Even though this seems out of character for Fisher, if this is true, I have no respect for him.

The following question is not apropos to this particular thread, but I don't believe that it deserves a thread of its own. So here goes:
Did Rodney injure the same knee that was injured last year vs. Pittsburgh?
I know it's a dumb question, but I don't recall reading anything in the Glob or Herald online that would have answered it. Here's another one: When is the best guess return of Rodney to action? Is SD even a possibility?

No, this was the right knee. We aren't sure of the grade of the sprain, so the best guesstimates are either it's a 2-4 week injury or a 4-6 week one. But as Vrabel said this week, whatever the estimates are for a return, cut them in half with Rodney. Best case scenario is probably 3 weeks though, not likely in time for second round, a decent shot at the AFCC in a brace but a very good chance for the Superbowl.

I agree. I was suprized by how dirty they were when I was watching the game. I wonder how much they were laughing when the game was over? And Vince Young getting rookie of the year? What a joke he was like the 30th ranked passer in the nfl.

Off topic a little, but did the pats ever say it was his MCL? The only reason i ask is becuase tonight on the NFL Network they were running through the injury list and something stuck out to me:

Faulk questionable--Knee
Harrison out--leg injury.

I know the pats are like the NSA when it comes to injuries, but why the difference here, why not have Faulk as a leg injury as well. Is there any chance it's anything else with Rodney, like a fracture or something?

Just wondering

Artrell Hawkins made a similar comment this week on Dale and Holley. The information about what happened after Rodney's injury is coming from the players.

I lost respect for the Tennessee organization when they locked out Steve McNair.

Unfortunately; if you know you aren't or can't bring the guy back and you are instituting changes (coaches game plan etc) then you dont want a guy in there getting your new playbook or talking with a bad attitude to your keeper players. So while it put them in a bad light; I dont see that as a big deal personally; just a distasteful part of the business.

I personnally lost respect for them when they signed Mawae. And if anybody doesn't think he had a large part to do with the goings on last Sunday; I think you were smoking something.

I agree with you here...he always seemed like a class act.....wouldn't have predicted this one.......there should have been a few fines handed out to the Titans that day...

Hey don't knock Vince, without him that team goes nowhere, he is the reason for their wins. I feel bad he is stuck on that hooligan team, he seems like a good guy and I want to root for him, just not for that team.
