Espn.com is having a poll about which post season game was the best ever.
So far the snow game is 1 and pats win over carolina is 2.
Funny rams game not in top 20.

Let's not get greedy. But I agree. As John Madden said, XXXVI "gave me goosebumps" (that was before I started screaming my lungs out).

The rams game was like your first love you never forget that feeling

yeah. i remember everything about the moment. Standing in front of the couch with my hands holding my head in a vise-like grip as though it were going to explode. Watching the snap like it was in slow motion. Yelling "Please, Please" as the kick was on its way. Then a moment of stunned silence and shouts of "Oh God, Oh God. We won. We won." as all hell broke loose in my living room. Yup. I'll never forget it.

There used to be a clip of the final drive on YouTube, including Madden's "Goosebumps" remark, but the stiffs in the NFL pulled it or I would have posted it here.

My emotions were whipsawed after the play on which Tebucky scooped up the Warner fumble at the goal line and ran it back 98 yards for an apparent game clinching touchdown ....

"I can't believe it! The Patriots are actually going to win a Super Bowl! I can't believe it!!!!!"

to this when the play was called back on a Willie McGinest holding penalty ...

"This is like deja vu all over again. Haven't we seen this movie before? Didn't we see this in 1976 when Ben Dreith called the phantom "roughing the passer" penalty on Sugar Bear Hamilton? Don't the Patriots ALWAYS stub their toe and find a way to lose, (just like the Red Sox)?"

to this when the Rams tied the game ...

"I knew it. I should have known better than to get my hopes up. I probably shouldn't even watch the end of the game. The Pats defense is tired, the Rams scoring machine has awakened... but I'll keep watching just out of loyalty to the team."

to this when Brady led THE DRIVE ...

"Is it possible? Naw, the kick will be blocked, or Lucy will be the holder and pull the ball away at the last minute, or there will be a false start penalty on us putting us out of FG range, or something. But...just maybe... NAW."

to this when the kick went through the uprights...

"Is there a flag? There must be a flag. Don't celebrate yet... can it be? The announcers are screaming... the confetti is flying... the trophy is being carried onto the field... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! WE WON! WE WON! WE ACTUALLY WON A SUPER BOWL! THE RULES OF NATURE HAVE BEEN BROKEN!" :woohoo:

Yah, I was bummed out by the TBKY TD call back.
And worried as the Rams scored to tie.
But then I saw the time on the clock.
I was SO confident that Brady would win it.
Never worried about the kick.

Loser mentality is for Sox fans; that's why I don't have it.

that's cool. i remember speaking with a neighbor of ours in our building (who also happens to do Network NFL Play-by-Play on the weekends) before the game. tuesday before the game he said "if the patriots come out and hit them in the nose from the beginning they're gonna win the game."
