I understand this kids use/lack of use and production have been discussed way to frequently this year but what does everyone think of his chances of getting some opportunities in the playoffs? The playoffs are all about creating mismatches. Clearly LeKevin has tons of physical tools. If he is used as the 4th, 5th, or 6th Lineman I would think the opponents are going to have a hard time finding someone big/strong enough to block him in certain situations. Especially since he has seldom been used this season, opponents aren't necessarily going to make blocking him the focal point of their offensive game plans. I suspect that he will get an opportunity at some stuns this postseason much like Ted Washington in the 03' playoffs. Also, i think he could create a serious spark by blocking punts. He looks incredibly hungry on the sideline and when he gets into the game which is what the playoffs are all about.

He's moved solidly into the 6th DL slot which is the equivalent of 3,000 thousands posts here on Patsfans.com! The kid is showing he has what it takes to be somebody, maybe sooner rather than later.

Do you think the Bears have a chance this weekend little buddy? I'll bet Lovie is looking as LeKevin with lust about now...Golly, but that Belichick is a genius!

Pierre Woods has the 6th DL, 6th LB, 6th DB and 6th PK spots sewn up. Maybe next year, LeKevin.

If the Bears were playing this weekend i'd say they would lose.

I've said it all year and i'll say it again.

The Chicago Bears will not win a playoff game.

They are overrated and were incredibly lucky.

I just don't get all the love for LeKevin Smith (and I am tired of the giant size pictures at the bottom of each post!). Just kidding, whatever turns your crank.

IMO he has either the 51, 52 or 53rd spot on the roster. If he gets any snaps it is either really good or really bad for the Patiots (way ahead or injuries). I will actually be surprised if he is active.

Hopefully he can benefit from an NFL offseason program and become an adequate backup NT. At this point he has barely been noticeable on the field.

I just do not get it either. Ok, he is big and strong, but bigger and stronger than our starters??? No way we want him replacing the human clog Wilfork. Ty is on fire and deserved the probowl. Seymour is Seymour. I just don't see how you would want a rookie to replace these types of guys. We have the best DL in football.

What did the Bears have anything to do with this thread? Hey look, a chicken.

Poor Keegsy, nobody appreciates irony anymore, you can't even get it in vitamins. Speaking of the Bears Keegs, I take it you believe they have a chance this weekend, though an upset is likely? Just remember your karma on these things, I believe this could come back to bite you and the Bears will be sitting there next week, tan, rested, and ready...

He's a solid backup..but I agree..NOT a factor..and will be in ONLY if there is an injury god forbid OR a blowout...Hill seems like the odd man out again..does he really get it OR??? I still am not giving up on him yet...AND obviously the staff is working with him..time for him to sgow what he has this offseason. I like Kev..hey in the draftroom, I was the only one who called the pick right before it happened...he can also play outside..so?? beside a backup..might be used in other situations. NOTHING WRONG with having a ton of great young linemen!! Look at how Denver rotates and keeps all fresh!!

haha
for the 2nd time smartass, the bears don't play this weekend.
I know you are just joking but i don't really see your angle so my only out is to respond as though it's a "serious question"

the bears have a bye week.

I don't see your angle.
But i never really do, you are funny but also kinda crazy.

Are all these posts jokes or does no one really get the sarcasm that the first post is drenched in?

Sub "Chad" or "Jackson" anywhere you see "LeKevin" or "Smith" and it will make more sense.

There, you proved my point, your karma is sooooo bad that they are now assured of being there next week - dang but I've got to see how you do handicapping ponies in the Chincoteague round-up swim meet!

I've never been more serious, got a note from my Doctor and everything.

why is Brownfan80 here?

i thought he ignored me?

well whatever it takes to up his post count i guess........
funny that he picks such an obvious method of doing it.

Not only does he look incredibly hungry, what's also incredible is his name. He has a most unusual first name along with the most common of last names. As President of the LeKevin Smith Fanclub, Keegs, what's up with that???

He'll have a great seat!

It'll be a while before Le can elbow Big Vince out of the buffet line, however.:D
