Please forgive me if this has already been posted but let me get this straight, if Seattle had lost that last game of the season their pick would be at 13 rather than 22? Is this correct?:

12 Buffalo Bills 7-9 .574
13 St. Louis Rams 8-8 .465
14 Carolina Panthers 8-8 .473
15 Pittsburgh Steelers 8-8 .496
16 Green Bay Packers 8-8 .500

28 New England Patriots* 12-4 .496
29 Indianapolis Colts* 12-4 .500
30 Chicago Bears* 13-3 .430

I don't think so. They would of been grouped with the 8 and 8 teams, (which san fran would of also joined). The ordering in that group would then apply the rule that all playoff teams pick after all non playoff teams, so they would of gone to 21st, ahead of the the bronco's. (perhaps 20th, if the giants lasted longer in the playoffs).

If Seattle had lost to Tampa Bay, and SF had beaten Arizona the week before, then SF would have won the division. In that case, yes, the Seahags' pick would have been #13 or so.

seattle went 4-0 in games decided by 3 or fewer, i know three of those were last second josh brown fgs the other (first gm of the yr) i cant really remember
but say they went 2-2 in these games: it would be the 10th pick in the draft!!
wow thats frustrating

It would have been 19th. Sea. and NYG would have been the last two picks of the 8-8 teams because they made the playoffs.
