Looks like the Pats may have two games in a row without facing the opposing team's starting QB. It is reported that Vick has a broken rib. Adam Schefter is reporting that it isn't likely that Vick plays this weekend. I guess that means that there is a possibility that he doesn't play the following weekend vs. the Pats.

Vince Young it is then...i think Tom Brady is going to set a record throwing against that Eagle Zillion dollar Secondary in two weeks.

There are broken ribs and there are broken ribs. I wd not be surprised if Vick played this week, let alone the following.

But whether he plays or not, this game looms as more dangerous than any other game left on our schedule, as far as I am concerned.

Couldn't disagree less. To beat the Pats, you have to be accurate and mentally tough. He is neither, and that team is a basket case.

That sucks..I was hopin he would play, since he is horrible.

If Vick misses time hopefully that allows the Patriots to shutdown LeSean McCoy. He's been nothing short of amazing for the Eagles in 2011.

Pretty much. The Patriots are often gashed by QB's running the ball when said quarterbacks are merely mobile and not know for their scrambling abilities. I recall Vince Young having a nice game for himself against us in 2006, but that was his first year in the league, so the book wasn't out on him yet.

Vick's first year was 2001

Edit: Oops, thought you meant Vick, not Young

That's where I stand, too. I'm not a huge fan of Vick by any stretch, but if he's on the field, he's dangerous. The Patriots' defense isn't exactly teeming with uber-athletic players with a ton of range who can quickly close on Vick when he takes off.

I think the Pats win either way, but I'll feel better about it if Vick isn't playing.

I'm really not as enthused as some of you when we hear we're facing neutered teams. It seems like we always crush teams on our way to the playoffs only to suddenly meet real adversity.

I want this team tested, and above that - I want to watch good games!

Which broken ribs there are?

I wish nothing good for sociopath Vick. I have fond memories of the Pats clobbering him at Atlanter in 2001 with TBKY Jones et. al. sacking him. My daughter got married that day and we came home still wired after the wedding staying up into the AM watching the game on my new TiVo.

Vince Young concerns me more than Michael Vick:eek:
