OT: kevin Kolb calls Eagles’ plays to Arizona defense

Not surprised. I remember Vrabel going on the radio after playing the Falcons when Vick was still there and said that the Falcons always run the same three plays with Vick. I don't know if Vick is smart enough to have a full playbook.

I think this activity is permitted by the league, provided that Kolb called the plays from inside an enclosure. ;)

Maybe its the Tecmobowl playbook?

I am very fascinated by reports such as this. Kolb says he almost knew about 90% of what the Eagles' offense was about to and told the defense what was about to happen.
Is Andy Reid that silly not to change his signals after Kolb spent 4 years with him?

This ranks up there with the Raiders failing to change their audibles in the Super Bowl when facing Tampa after Gruden left..Ever wonder they were able to intercept what 5 passes that day, several for pick-6's??? Sure helps when you know what's coming.... The fault lies with Reid for not changing the signals.....

That cheating snake. How dare he pay attention to what opposing coaches and players are signaling on the sideline for anyone to see.

The NFL says that Kolb received permission from the Eagles to memorize their play calls.

I hope he was wearing a lime green vest then! :D ;)

Eagle's coaching staff fault for not changing their calls.

This is what I think. It feels like Kolb wants some credit for the victory. People have started talking about Skelton and I am sure he is like not again. Let me let the world know that the only way we stopped the Eagles offense was because of my help from the treatment room.

I thought playing calling was via the helmet and not some hand signals and stuff.

Cue the Arlen Spector witch hunt.

I can't see anything wrong with this!

Reid's fault for not changing them!

If this is true, it appears that Reid may be the one who has lost his fastball. Not a good week for him.

His press conference today was very Belichick-ian.

"I'm thinking about the Giants. The only thing I am looking at is playing the New York Giants".

Are you saying the blueprint for beating the Eagles was done in crayon? :D

More interestingly, Spurior brought the same audibles with him to the Skins from Florida. Doug Johnson as an opposing QB recognized the audibles he used to run in college when he faced the Skins as the Bills QB.

Also, most strangely, the Raiders kept their defensive audibles after Gruden left. Gruden recognized them when he faced his old team in the following year's SB. Now that is screwed up - the team keeping the calls of the departed coach.
