From a Jets fan view, The Jets have out played the Pats for the last 6 quaters of football and for that we should be confident. I think a advantage for you guys by far is your run game, you have a great 1-2 punch in Dillon and Maroney. Brady is also Brady and as much as I hate the Pats as I'm sure you guys hate us, Vintage Brady is tough to overcome and he didnt play well up in our 2nd meeting this season and I know he will play better.

I think our special teams are better and it would be great to get a score off of that, our secondary led by Kerry Rhodes improves every week and gives us an advantage especially if we can get pressure on the QB.

I think its going to be a dog fight and I'm looking forward to it, from our end if we want to make it to Miami in February we want to go through you guys, so were excited. Feel free to stop by nyjetsfan.com and throw your opinions out. It's going to be a fun week!!!!

No one said it was gonna be easy. Is any game easy? But thanks for trying to stir the pot.

thank goodness for gameplanning.....

or else the jets' overwhelming talent led by..........................kerry rhodes...............................................................................................would out play the pats for another 4 quarters

10--You be servin' penne or linguini this Sun?

Your team has played us well the last couple of meetings. I find it interesting that the Pats average 11 points a game vs Belichick deciphel coaches and 30 points a game vs all others.

To be honest the team that tackles the best is gonna win the game. We had alot of missed tackles and that one bogus scamper for a td from that wr of yours. Heads up play on his part for sure but I wouldn't count on that to happen again. I felt you guys played your A game against us and won the last meeting while we played a C- game and barely lost.

I know we can play better that and I'm strongly confident they will. Patriots 27 Jet's 12.

I agree with you....It's gonna be hell of a game....Payback is a bit-h....I think both sides of fans are going to be a wreck.....I want to see L J Run all over
PAY-ME-A-TON 'S Colts......Have a good week....GO PATS!!!!:rocker:

I have a questions, I know a lot of you guys come to the meadowlands and it gets a little crazy sometimes when we get the ones who dont stop running there mouths, but from experience with Jet fans coming to Foxboro how is it? I'm driving up Sunday for the game and I will 100% be in my Jet Green, but I am a respectful dude, I will cheer for my team on big plays but by no means will I antagonize you guys or just be an idiot, what kind of welcome will I get I guess I should say?

As long as you act respectful, you will be welcome in the spirit of true sportsmanship. I don't expect a lot of Jets fans at this game.

i can run my mouth and back it up via the other thread, and i can be very respectful, in what ways do the letters J-E-T-S show disrespect. I think your just nervous man everyone else on this board seems to be enjoying the healthy competition and you my friend well , hahahahahahahahah

I can feel you shaking over the net

Am I nervous, yes and have been before every playoff game five of the last six years.

Do I respect the Jets, yes I do, always have. If your quarterback, the annoying pain in the balls that he is, gets into one of his "third and five and Pennington completes a six yard pass", "third and seven and Pennington completes an eight yard pass" rythms, we are in trouble. Not having Harrison out there to take your recievers heads off when they come over the middle bothers me.

The fact that your wrecking ball of a coach is familiar with the Patriots bothers me as well. Unlike other members of this forum who think this game is going to be a cakewalk, I do not and it will be a war. If it comes down to a fieldgoal, I have very little faith in our new kicker.

That is my honest feeling about the game; if the Patriots can keep Pennington from getting into a rythm and force him into making mistakes, we win. We also need to win the turnover battle as well, can't give the Jets field position on turnovers.

As far as the loss in Foxboro, I did not see the game, listened to in on the radio coming home from PA (nice ***clowns you have as radio announcers for games by the way, talk about homers). I did see the first game and not sure what you are talking about as you got your ***es handed to you until that lucky bounce off a guy, not hit the ground, roll off the pile and run TD.

As far as your comments about no blow out losses, you don't consider 42-0 a blow out? Get real.

Have a nice ride to the game and a nice long one home. Don't forget to stop at the first rest area in New Jersey off of 287 where all you Jets fans stop after games like you did after the Buffalo loss earlier this year.............

The last game came down to 2 plays if you really think about it. The great, and I do mean great, catch by Cotchery in the end zone and the fumble by Doug Gabriel which was a great play by the Jets D.

If those two plays don't happen Pats win that game even though they were outplayed all day. The Jets D has/is playing at the same level that they were in that game (ie: no better or no worse). However over the last 3 games we have seen a completely different Pats O which over that period is playing at a completely different level than they did in week 10.

Now can the Jets D make them play worse, of course, but I'm just not seeing it. They, the Jet D, for lack of a better term, shot their wad in that game. They are obviously going to attempt to pressure Brady which it appeared that the Pats O was completely unprepared for. How much do you want to bet they will be prepared this week for the pressure? Add to that the Jets best DB (Dyson) is out for the game combined with the field will not be the mud pit it was in week 10 and I see a different result. I am thinking 24-10 or 27-14. Jets are a good team, superbly coached playing with house money, which will put up one heck of a fight but will be outmatched by a better team this week, just like the Titans, Jags and Texans were the last 3 weeks.

Not to mention with Warren and Wilfork back (Warren was missing week 10) the Jets will have no running game what-so-ever which will let the D key on Pennington and his short dump passes. Time will tell but I see a better team the Pats, beating the lesser team the Jets, as they should.

Yes indeed.....

The Jets best gave you a win that came down to a fluke play in the end zone and a fumble by a guy that has no clue. Jests beat us on a day when we were very injured and before we started playing serious Patriot football.

The Patriots of the past 3 weeks have clearly rounded into playoff shape at exactly the right time (seeing as the playoffs are starting).

Patriots are peaking NOW.

Poor Jets will see the team that is the team of this decade.

Patriots will win by at least 17 pints, probably more.

Ok let's be reasonable here. The game came down to a "fluke" play in the endzone? Come on now, Cotchery made a great play on the ball, say what it is, don't give me that it was a fluke, that's just dumb.

The fumble was ridiculous and the guy never had a clue, but those are the breaks. I wouldn't use that as a ligit arguement for the loss, but I can give you that one and would expect a play like that wouldn't happen again.

The Pats were banged up in week 10 and yes we were coming off a bye week in where we had some extra days of work. Injuries are a part of football, our team last year was built to be a ligit contender and suffered a massive amount of injuries. Being healthy is always better then being hurt, but you can't cry over spilt milk.

The Pats in the playoffs are a complete different team then they are in the regular season and we know that, I know there is no way no how we will see the same Pats team as we did in week 10, the Pats always seem to peak during playoff time.

These "poor" Jets aren't by any means the same Jets your use to seeing either. We have a healthy QB now who makes great decisions and gives us a chance to win every single weekl. We have given up 12.8 ppg in our last 8 games and only 1 rushing touchdown. We have 22 sacks and have gotten pressure on the Qb with our front 3.

There is no way the Pats win by 17 or more here. This is going to be a game that comes down to the 4th quater and with Vintage Brady I would like your chances too. I'm not screaming Jets win, Jets win, but like the thread says it's not going to be easy Sunday and thats my point.

And your point is well made; any fan on either side who thinks his team is going to blow the other team out is kidding himself.

I said it before and I'll say it again; if Pennington gets into one of his famous dink and dunk rythms (how many times Sunday will we hear "Jets are third and four and Pennington fakes the handoff, rolls to his right and hits Coles on a crossing patern, good for seven yards and another Jets first down, keeping the drive alive one more time"; if it is a lot, we are screwed), we are in trouble.

The game could come down to turnovers and special teams as well. You asked me before if I was nervous and I said honestly I was and I still am, I'm being honest and not being homer. It's funny to hear Jets fans go on and on about a three point win, yet fluff off the first game and say they made it close at the end, so it was a moral victory. Don't see it that way, sorry to say. The whole "rally" in that game started with a total fluke play, end of story.

Thanks for the football talk, unlike the crap from Soothsayer and Jetman67, the two rocket scientists that they are. Calling the Patriots "the Patsies" and the fans "Chowds" (nice, you F#$%ing brain dead moron) is idiotic, lets stick to football and not name calling, or else I'll have to refer to your team as the Just End The Sufferings............
