I say give Steve Spurrier another try. Maybe even Pete Carroll. Gotta love those college coaches!!!!

person i DONT want to see there is mike martz

I would jump out of my seat in joy if they hired Martz. Can't think of a more overrated coach in recent history, Herm has nothing on Martz when it comes to game mismanagement. Plus I could truly enjoy making fun of him from my recliner twice a year. That would be outstanding!

I nominate the Defensive Coordinator of the Colts whoever he is ...

You beat me to it by 7 minutes..........
I was amazed the thread got through 3 pages without him being mentioned. I even looked up Kotite to make sure he was still with us before posting, not wanting to be insensitive. Looks like he is.

Moby ****.

i had considered posting the name of a dead coach...but they might mistake him for Wannestadt...

Dear Mr. Heizenga:

As you conduct your search for Mr. Saban's replacement, I suggest you try to find someone who is happy living in the Miami area, as your recent history both with players (Ricky Williams) and coaches (Nick Saban) will certainly attest. Therefore I suggest that you seriously consider Mr. Tyrone Law.

You may of course realize that Mr. Law has absolutely no coaching experience at any level. However, he does spend time with his sons all around the country, and sometimes he throws a ball back and forth with them. Furthermore, he has a lot of experience in contract negotations, and as for that incident at the Niagra Falls border crossing, it was his cousins suitcase. Plus, that incident with resisting arrest in Miami just shows how much he enjoys spending time in your great city.

In summary, I believe Mr. Law to be the perfect candidate to lead the Miami Dolphins back to their days of former glory, while Messrs Czonka, Morris, Warfield and Greise are still alive.

I second Martz. Worst head coach in recent history.

Count me among those who find Martz psychotic enough
to do us a lot of good as head coach in Miami.

That said,
i'd be happy if he were OUR
offensive coordinator.

No way. Martz doesn't utilize his personnel properly, and he has an ego to boot. I'd rather have Belichick calling the plays.

Martz would be perfect. A stubborn egomaniac who runs a dome only offense, teaches his players not to worry about committing turnovers or wasting time outs, blows his challenges in the first quarter of every game, and openly doesn't care about defense or special teams. Forget just him in Miami, can we clone him to get 3 guys like that to challenge BB in the AFC East?

How about Bernie Kosar?
He'll be the perfect guy to teach Culpepper how to nimbly elude blitzers and lineman. :D

I'd like to see Wannestadt as Dolphins HC again. That would take them nowhere. Or how about Dennis Green? That way he can explode in postgame press conferences after his team chokes away what could have been victory. :)
