Funny you should ask that. I had the exact same thought yesterday and went to the VIP board. Unfortunately, it's pretty much t-shirt delivery stuff. I forget about it for long stretches of time for some reason.

I forgot to renew my support for the site so I don't have access anymore, but when I did go to to the Vip board in the past, it was a ghost town.

First you used the term "homer" 3 times. Can't you think of something more original? If you are a fan (root word fanatic) then by definition you are a "homer". I get a kick of someone who has 97 posts saying "we talk football here". Post counts usually don't mean very much but in this case, it's comical.

Then we have another guy who is nothing but a negative nancy, who tries to tell mod's how to run the board, and blast other posters here, and is now telling others to leave.. His join date is September 2011. Another moment.

The VIP area can be used by any one that donates to the site. It's up to you guys to start meaningful threads. I think that those who are critical and would post there would have a real points and not just bomb throwers.

So it's up to you guys/gals, donate,go there and start threads. Others will follow.

You write a lot about not joining in if you see things you don't like. With 97 posts in 38 months, I'm guessing there hasn't been much you've liked.

Good god, are you having a bad day?

This board is full of negativity these days. Hell, I didn't like our performance either and I think also that Bill missed badly on some draft picks, made wrong decisions regarding the roster (I still don't understand how Ventrone, Tarpinian and Koutuvides are more valuable to the team then Bodden, Sanders or Tate).
But there's a difference between discussing these matters objectively by supporting opinions with reasonable facts, and calling-names everybody who doesn't agree with specific opinions & behaving as if the season was over today.

The board has become unreadable because of some posters who don't care in supporting their opinions with facts and respecting the opinions of other posters. I've been reading the board for over two years, and I'm posting sparingly since last year; there was always (and will always be) some negativity, but we're reaching an extreme, where reading and discussing just isn't fun anymore.
