FS: "Hey Bill, here's a suggestion to teams: if you don't want teams to score, then stop them. How about that?"
BB: "You know what? My dad told me that a long time ago when I was a coordinator at the Giants. He said 'You know what, it's your job to keep the score down, not theirs.'"

Anyone who thinks he was trying to run up the score was clueless.

If that was true why didn't he leave Brady in?

Hey, it was a nice show of respect by BB towards Testaverde. That type of thing helps to show the rest of the team how the coaching staff looks out for them as well. A lot of players make sacrifices in order to win, things like this is an example of BB giving back.

Fisher and his crew of gangbangers can suck it up and deal with it. That team in Tenn needs to clean up their act and focus on football.

To me, how a team plays is a reflection of their team leaders and coaches. Guys like Fisher and Mawae need to focus the young talent on that team towards winning, not thug-like tactics. Trash talking is crap... shut up and play.

We are led by BB, Brady, Brushi, Seymour, Vrabel, Harrison..... old school guys that go about their business the right way.

this TD made me happy

Sums up the feelings of the Titans fans who were trying to tell me that he's a classless *******.

The game was out of reach anyway. BB let Vinny make NFL history and what coach wouldn't allow that, Green Bay allows Farve back every year to pad his stats.

In a 3 point game with 11 minutes left, with Tennessee still in the playoff hunt, BB put in his second string quarterback and then the team essentiallhy didn't even try to convert a first down on 3d and 20. They gave the ball back to Tennessee at home essentially with a chance to drive down and, as it turned out, secure a playoff spot. Jeff Fisher has nothing to complain about. If anything, it easy could have been the Kansas City Chiefs who had the gripe if things had turned out differently.

You didn't hear us complaining when the Phins went for a 2 point conversion in a shut out game.

Exactly, the Tacks had their shot and they didn't have the cajones when it was on the line. Their complaining is nothing but sour grapes......

In about 3 or 4 days they will realize how stupid they sound, BB was not trying to run up the score.. the Titans stink, and instead of complaining about the Pats they should complain about how their vaunted defense was walked all over. Thought Jeff Fisher was better than this.

I keep hearing about this, but my interpretation of that last TD was just BB giving VT his 20th TD which was an important record for Vinny. The likelihood of VT being in that position during the playoffs was slim;if BB didn't set that up last week there may have never been another opportunity.
Not for nothing but the Titans is the last team that should be whining about anything.

I disagree. He was absolutely running up the score. If he wasn't trying to, he wouldn't have brought a veteran qb in and started calling passing plays. Judging by how ugly the game was between the two teams, I can't say that I blame him.
