Waiting for confirmation from more sources... but yeah. Wow.

If this is true BB has lost it, seriously Haynesworth in the limited time he's had on the field has been one of the better DT's on the team.

If anyone should have been released, it's Ochocinco who has done less for more money.

Terrible, terrible decision up there with releasing Bodden.

Suppose you can't speak out against the all mighty Pepper Johnson now? :bricks:

Re: Pats Release Haynesworth

wrong link, I think

Saw this coming.. the talk radio mediots will have something to bay about in the morning.. starting with, "I told you so"....

Damn. He was playing well, too.

Jesus ******* Christ. First we're going to neuter the secondary and now we're going to weaken the defensive line? Has Belichick lost his god damn mind?

the reason players like anderson and carter have 4.5 sacks each is because of Haynesworth if they did cut him look for the pass rush to get even worst

Looks like it, apparently released because of his altercation with Pepper...I'm sorry but if you're going to release a player for showing passion then there's something wrong.

Seems like a case of Shut up and do your job or your gone

good riddance, I say

Sure he looked good for a snap or two every game, but the season is half-complete and the dude can't give you 20+ snaps a game staying healthy and without being a problem.

Exactly. Watch the replay of the Giants game and watch the difference between the push that Haynesworth was getting and the push that Kyle Love was getting. Yes, Haynesworth got pancake blocked on that one play, but other than that, he was demanding of double teams and making everyone else's job that much easier. I suspect the pass rush will decline now as will the red zone defense that improved simultaneously with Haynesworth entering the game. Boneheaded move, Bill.

He played 9 snaps last weekend.. don't glorify how great he was, everyone was denigrating him last week..

You do not get into an argument with your position coach in the middle of a game..

Belichick wants the Miami job...:confused2:

Obviously Belichick saw something Pats fans didn't see

A fat tub of goo with virtually no tackles on the season and was probably let go after that altercation on Sunday

Don't know what the big deal is....Brace and Deaderick will be better in his place

That's 1 piece of crap down and one to go......Ocho blowschunkso is next

we don't know what happened that's just it.. Its not new on this team--anybody remember a guy named Moss-- no leeway here do your job and shut up--obviously it must have been pretty bad

And you don't release a player the caliber of Haynesworth because he argued with his position coach. You reprimand him, but you don't release him and weaken a unit that was actually the strength of an already up and down defense.
