I bet anything the Packers become the first team in history to go 19-0 and win the Super Bowl (again).
Rodgers > Brady
Fantastic. No one cares. He currently has a passer rating of almost 130 with the next guy (Brady) at around 100. This is one of the most incredible stretches I have ever seen a quarterback play, and Rodgers is still young.
In my opinion, Rodgers has a chance to become the greatest quarterback of all-time. Careers are long and lots of things will happen, players moving to other teams, slumps, fame, getting the bullseye on your back, etc., but Rodgers is the most gifted QB I have seen. He has Brady's accuracy but added mobility.
I hope the Packers have more prime time games in the second half of the season, because we are witnessing history; Brady's TD record will likely stand, but many other passing records will be shattered.
Honestly, I doubt Brady wins another Super Bowl. The knee injury changed him forever, and he's at the age where nagging injuries from the regular NFL grind are starting to affect his performance.
Belichick is too busy turning over the entire defense every season, and Krafty is all about "value" (i.e. "they don't pay" -- see Welker, Wes).
Rodgers is ascendant. He has a lot more rings left in him.
And McCarthy? Well, the game hasn't passed him by.

Must be the reason he has only one championship to Brady's 3.

This season has really brought the bandwagon malcontents out from under their rocks in droves...
Should the Pats tank this playoff season I for one would love to see GB go 16-0 and then win the SB. Great to see all those reprehensible, smug 70s Phins choke on their bile.
And while we're at it, let's tear down that limp 16-0 banner at Gillette.
Rodgers is having a fantastic season, but the next good pass defense that he plays against will be the first. Not a dig at him, he's just doing exactly what a top-tier, great, elite QB who's on top of his game does against crappy competition.
You think that banner is bad?
I still have a 16-0 undefeated regular season sweatshirt I bought online at Modell's before the 07 playoffs started
A waste of $60 and bad memories every time I see it hanging in my closet

With all this Rodgers and Packers love, you have to wonder if collective amnesia has gripped the country. Yes, the Pack is playing great and is winning games, but there's a reason only one team has ever gone 16-0. It's incredibly difficult to win every game in the NFL. Remember, the Pats were one stupid Rex Ryan time out away from losing in Baltimore in '07. The Pats just squeaked out the 16. And, of course, many feel that the weight of trying to achieve 19-0 was one reason for the poor performance against the G-men in the Super Bowl. The odds the Pack will go 16-0 are not zero, but they're not that high, either. Every team stumbles at least once a season. Hard to believe the Pack won't.
Another thing that many sports pundits seem to have forgotten is Rodgers' history of concussions. He may never get another one, but he just might and it could derail his season. Multiple concussions do not a long, fruitful career make. I'm not wishing that on him. I hope he stays healthy. But Rodgers has a long way to go before he is anywhere close to the GOAT.
Brady quietly as well as Brees are on pace to shatter Marino's yardage record.
Whoopdeedoo.
I couldn't care less about Rodgers or about the history he's making. He can go piss up a rope as far as I'm concerned.
I'm sick of the Packers.
Real classy. I'm sure in '07 you couldn't get enough of it when it was the Pats that was getting slurped all year long.
What Rodgers is doing is arguably more impressive even. I've never seen ANY QB play at this high of a level, ever.
rodgers right now is playing at an INSANELY high level. Wasen't favres prime level similar (rodgers is better though)?
