Hard-work and will are still very important parts of the game. But if don't have talent, you can't play at high level every week.

did they not win the first time with a Defense that was playing much worse than it did against the Giants? I get that the Jets are coming off a big win and the Pats just sh*t the bed 2 games in a row. But the Jets are really not that good a team. They are at best playoff fodder for the better AFC teams like Steelers/Ravens and probably Texans which is what the Pats are at this point-in-time.

I must have missed the early 21st century because I for one missed the Pats acting like thugs, threatening other players and teams and I missed Pats players referring to other teams and players in scatalogical terms.

Scott is a turd himself and I wish him nothing but bad things,but I bet 98% of this forum would have absolutely loved to have an athlete like Scott anchoring the LB spot in a Pats uniform and showing life in an otherwise dead silent defense with no leader in the bunch.
