Some may say it may be early to proclaim this,But it appears to me
that Cunningham is heading into the longline of failed Pass Rushing busts to play here.
With Ellis injured, you would think the team wanted to get a little taste of the young player and get more in game experience from the edge, but as a healthy scratch two weeks in a row on a defense that has failed miserably to get a constant pass rush,it has to give you the impression that Cunningham might be a quick out here in NE.
Its not like we have a superb outside edge rush, and if there were others who had to sit you wouldn't think it would be a fairly early draft pick 2 years ago who was finally supposed to provide the rush when McGinest left.
There is a reason why a healthy Cunningham is scratched AGAIN and I don't think its a positive reason.
When I think that this team was a heartbeat away from drafting Carlos Dunlap instead of this scrub,it makes me sick to my stomach, that Dunlap kid is playing lights out and I loved him in the draft.
