Skeptics silenced, Glenville coach turns inner-city kids into college football stars
No one thought there were college prospects in the inner city of Cleveland, much less Big Ten prospects. If they saw talent, coaches figured, Tarblooder players wouldn't qualify academically or have the study skills to stick it out. Or they would be derailed by run-ins with the law or family problems.

``I remember one coach said, `Your kids are not the type of kids we want on our team,' '' Ginn said.

And almost no one figured Ginn would be the one to change those coaches' minds.
We see BB buddy Kirk Ferentz tried to land Woods - you wonder if he also had information for BB...

Great read indeed, thank you!

Pierre Woods was already my pet among this year's rookie class, it's interesting to see how far he's already come and how he got here. Here's to more great things from Woods, and a few more Ted Ginns for the world.

Thanks indeed. That was a great, informative read. Even someone who's never been to a U.S. high school can appreciate what this means.

Thanks Box! Great read!
