I don't know where to see injury status or anything, but he's been out of practice since returning from the bye.

As my hometown hero, his absence is disturbing.

He broke his thumb in the preseason game against the Bucs.

Sometimes in the last few weeks he suffered another injury to it that appears to be a serious setback.

Too bad...Pats D could really use him.....

Get healthy soon Dane :)

Well let's hope it's just a thumb.

I've got a suspicion that he had surgery on his thumb just prior to the bye week and has to let that heal now.

Belichick must not think he could have much of an impact, because I'm pretty sure I recall Bruschi playing with a large cast before.

Hopefully fully healed by now.

feels good

Indeed...i thought he looked pretty good in preseason.

I hope he gets back real soon, the guy plays good heads up football.

He doesn't hit as hard as Spikes and doesn't have Mayo's range, but Fletcher looks like our best open field tackler when he's out there. Given the tackling problems we've had lately, that's something we could really use.

Isn't any player that is injured more than 3 weeks made of glass? We just cannot have injuries to players who play a collision sport.

With the exception of players from Montana. We're rugged, and tougher than you. What ever Dane's injury is, it's probably something that would be fatal, or at the very least career ending for most players.

And a bust! Even when they are undrafted...

I think our 3 best LBs are Mayo, Spikes and Fletcher. Spikes is stuck in the middle, but I would move Fletcher outside and sit Ninko. Course he has to get healthy first, but that is one of hte few things to look forward to with this D.

Lol is this because of the game day thread? A lot of people were not very happy with him last Sunday....
