Is there any doubt that Brandon Tate would've contributed more as a Kick Returner and 3rd/4th WR than what we have now? (Our returners have been struggling to make it back to the 20 yard line this year)

Is there any doubt that Darius Butler would've contributed more as a 3rd/4th CB than what we have now?

Is there any doubt that Leigh Bodden would've contributed more as a 3rd/4th CB than what we have now?

Last but not least, Is there any doubt that Randy Moss would've contributed more than Ocho Cinco has?

I categorically agree with the Moss, Butler, and Tate cuts. I'm not so sure about Butler.

I'm most peeved by what happened at the safety position prior to the season: releasing Sanders, not resigning Page, and letting go of Meriweather.

Unfortunately for BB he never got off to a good start, from Eugene Chung on it's been all downhill.

You're a few years off there, Chachi.

...an I'd hardly call any of those blunders. I don't know what happened with Bodden, but the rest of them were no-brainers. Moss shot his way out of town ferchrissakes.

This place is unbearable after a loss. Jesus. This is ridiculous.

Moss said ONE thing at a press conference. That's it. I'm sure he apologized, and he's damn near begged to come back since then. At the end of the day, he'd make our team better than Ocho Cinco has.

Brandon Tate would be our fastest, or one of the fastest players on our team. We're lacking a real deep threat and Welker has been lucky to break out for two long balls. Our return game has been pathetic and Tate was atleast a threat as a returner.

Not to mention the mess at Safety. Getting rid of Meriweather, Page, and Sanders while having no replacement.

Brandon tate did a hell of a lot more last year, than players like Tarpinian and Ross Ventrone have done this year.

The fan fallacy:
If the average football fan does not see something happen, it does not happen. Therefore, only interviews and games matter, and not behind-closed-doors conversations or practices.

Not to mention the mess at Safety. Getting rid of Meriweather, Page, and Sanders while having no replacement.
Oh, and which of those 3 is playing well? Hint: none of them.

Brandon tate did a hell of a lot more last year, than players like Tarpinian and Ross Ventrone have done this year.
When was the last time Brandon Tate covered a kick?

It's amazing how the very same people who are constantly screaming for the team to get rid of certain players criticize the team for doing just that once they are no longer on the roster.

1.) Moss sucked last year on three different teams. Why would we want him back?

2.) 'deep threat' and 'Tate' don't go together in the same sentence. He hasn't even caught a ball this year. Good kick returner, though.

3.) Meriweather, Sanders and Page have all been benched by their respective teams.

Huge blunders there. A bunch of guys who have done nothing of note since leaving the team.

and he set the world on fire after he left. Probably trading one washed up receiver for another.

We have lots of guys we haven't used at returner, but are you seriously bemoaning the loss of Tate the WR? Price will get his shot, probably not half the wide open shot Tate blew, and we'll see.

Any of those CBs or safeties would help right now if they took their chance to learn the system and play within it. i somehow think they didn't and BBs going to take criticism until we see some improvement there, it's on him.

We knew Meriweather was an idiot and all the other corners got buried by a UDFA special teamer, so you've got to wonder about that.

I'm not a BB does no wrong type, but when he puts himself out on a limb he's usually right, look at his record. Lots more teams hold on to guys who keep making mental errors because they;re afraid to cut high picks and they end up with teams full of stars that suck and eventually have to dump half a roster and start over.

BBs earned the benefit of the doubt and he'll take the shots, which he deserves in some measure since he picks em too.

Unnecessary consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds.

They're all playing leaps and bounds better than Ihedigbo, Brown, or Barrett.

One thing i hate is our returns only get back to the 20 every dam time...no one breaks one for a big gain

So you think this team is really going anywhere with this defense? It will win most of the games on the rest of the schedual because i think they have a fairly easy schedual the rest of the way, but it will be one and done again in the playoffs. This defense, especially the D-Backfield is Putrid. That Rancid performance Sunday is more indicative of where this team is at imo. when it faces a quality opponent

Yes there is. The players who beat him out beat him out.

Come on. What were you saying about Butler before he was cut?
Butler was beaten out.

Is there any doubt that Leigh Bodden would've contributed more as a 3rd/4th CB than what we have now?
Clearly there is because his boss fired him.

85 wasn't Moss' replacement 84 was.

That statement is a complete joke. Neither Meriweather nor Page has seen a defensive snap in their respective team's last two games. Sanders has at least made it on the field (when he hasn't been hurt), but has only started once this season. All three have been benched.

Moss wasn't traded because of what came out of his mouth. He was traded because he no longer could, or no longer wanted to play. Its all on the film of the games he was here for.

Factually incorrect

Did you actually watch Tate play last year when he failed in that opportunity?

There are replacements. The fact that the replacements are not stars says more about the guys who couldnt beat them out than it says about the replacements.

Shhh. We have a problem, so we have to overstate and exaggerate everything, and flat out make stuff up to make the problem seem worse than it is.
How else do you expect this grass roots effort to fire that loser BB to be effective?

Molden, Adams, Ihedigbo and Barrett

This is the best Belichick could do for backups, with many millions of cap money available.

Of course, we are OK with our carryovers McCourty, Arrington, Chung and Brown.

Evidently so. I would imagine when he was out working on the roster he expected Meriwhether to be able to make the team. He expected Sanders to participate in some practices. He expected Butler to not get beaten out by Moulden. He expected Bodden to at least be a capable nickel. He had some expectation that Dowling would be healthy.
Are you really telling me that in August you were calling for FA signings of corners and safeties?
**** happens, and when it does you have to do what you have to do. The same people crying about the guys that are gone wanted them gone in the first place.
How abuot we get our starting safety back on the field, let our nickel and dime guys show us more than one game, then we decide if they are worse than the guys who couldnt make the team ahead of them?
