Giants not afraid of Tom Brady and patriots

good Im sure the patriots aren't afraid of Eli and the Giants either.

Why should they be? They have the formula to beat us--the can apply pressure with 4 DLs, they have an accurate QB and excellent receivers.

Exactly. Why the hell should anyone be afraid of the Pats. They have Brady and a great offense, but the defense has proven that Eli and Co. will be able to match the Pats point for point. For me the worry is how well the OL will be able to handle NY's pass-rush. I find nothing wrong with what their players said either.

considering the pats have only been able to keep sanchez below 300 yards, the giants should have a field day offensively

before anyone turns this into an indictment against hte Patriots, NO team is going to say that they are afraid of another team...you want your players to be confident that they can beat anyone any game...thats why the winless rams can blow out the Saints

Guys, read the article again. some of the giants sound overconfident. there is a difference between not being afraid and being ****y.

In other news, the Giants fans (at least on that board) seem to be a pretty classy bunch. Good for them, not being a bunch of jerks like on Steeler and Jet boards.

And even if he thinks it, Kenny Phillips should be keeping his mouth shut.

I don't think any team goes into a game "afraid"...That is for little league. These are grown men, my goodness..

This team doesn't put fear into teams anymore..and even if they did..the other team isn't going to say it

Will there ever be a week when I can watch a football game without all this friggin drama? Life is hard enough. Every week it's the same BS.

If the NYG come out with, and I can't stand the word, "swagger" and brimming with confidence, we will see a repeat of the the Baltimore playoff game, especially from the turnover and offensive perspective from the Patriots....

It cold get really ugly down there on route one, and I have no clue how Pats fans cam be so freaking confident about this game....surely the prediction thread will be chock full of 35-20 Patriots scores....

all i can say is, teams that come in with the mindset of "these guys (patriots/brady) dont scare me," are usually the guys with the best chance at beating us.

That's OK because I don't think Tom Brady and the Patriots are afraid of the very average New York Giants.
This game will not be close.

Well somehow, someway, Seattle and Wash both beat the Giants so maybe there is a snowballs chance the lowly 1991 Pats can muster up a win.

I'm pretty sure alot of teams were afraid of the early decade pats or the 07 team.

Right now opponents have the confidence that they can exploit our defense.

I don't think this team EVER put fear in anyone. Even during our dominant years, all we ever heard was teams spouting off about how we weren't as good as our record, or Brady is just a system quarterback, or other such nonsense. This is the NFL, teams aren't afraid of other teams.

Actually, teams should go into a game afraid....afraid of what they're going to do to the opposition. :D

Who the heck is Antrel Rolle and Kenny Phillips?
