Manning on the Patriots: 'We Can Run Our Offense Efficiently At These Guys'
By: Ian Logue

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is aware of what he's up against when his team comes to town this weekend....

Will find out Sunday if this team has any heart, I hope they come out swinging and shut some people up, I've never seen other teams disrespect the pats so much ever before. They need to hit somebody in the mouth..

This is not just on BB. ENTIRE PATS TEAM, hope you are listening to this ...

WE NEED AN ANSWER ON SUNDAY...

Did he say they would be able to pick up "our BLITZES" Hell that isn't hard....it only happens ONCE or twice a game! ;)

In reading it completely, I see nothing wrong with what Manning said.

But they lost to Washington and Seattle, so the Pats can beat them too.

LOL if you can only play efficiently against this defense then you suck

I hate to be a pessimist but I need to vent.

We have big problems and we've made some horrible decisions with personnel-specifically in the secondary. We've opted for quicker players...but it seems they lack the aggressiveness of (last 10 yrs)-Otis Smith Tebucky Jones, Ty Law, Wilson, Samuels etc....etc......list goes on

I'm really disappointed and angry at the Bodden move. That was stupid.

I'm not a coach and I don't see the practices daily either-so I don't know what's best for the team to win.

Buffalo looks great right now....

Love BB but...

Bumble B. is not a good DB coach.

Who did he have come in to help a couple of yrs. ago? Dom Capers?

We drafted :

1.Butler CB (2nd round)-gone.
2.Merriweather S (1st)-gone!
3.Wilhite CB (4th)-gone
4. Wheatley CB (2nd)-gone
5.McGowan S (CHI)-gone
6. Sanders S -gone!
7. Bodden (DET(- gone!
8. McCourty CB (1)- ACTIVE
9. Dowling CB (Top 2nd)- OUT
10. Chung S (2nd)- ACTIVE (gotta stay healthy or we're done!)

The issue is developing our DB's...better coaching.
Bill needs help.

The pats D blows..so i expect the giants to get 400 yards of O..just hope the O shows up on sunday

Eli is going to have 300+ yards passing with 2 TD's is my guess

I say rush the middle. Is their center out? load Spikes and some DT/DE action on Eli-ALL DAY

Doesn't sound like Manning is worried...

When you think of the Patriots you just think of a team that’s always in the playoff picture, always a talented team and well coached. These are easy games that we get excited for and you just want to go in there and play the style of football that we know we can.”

I read Eli's comments in the NY press this morning. I have no problem with anything he said. He's confident but respectful and professional.

What do you want him to say, "We suck and they're great?"

Game on!

Come on. It's clear both when you listen to the quote itself and when you read it that he meant that these games are "easy" to get excited about. Let's cut the nonsense; it's what I expect to find on the Jests' board.

It'll be a long afternoon on Sunday if last game's performance repeats itself. The entire country, or most of it anyway, is going to see the Patriots swiss cheese defense get carved up like we've not seen in a long time.
As I've said before, the Patriots offense better score on almost every possession if they want any chance of winning. Pats fans are on edge. It's a 4:15 game. People are going to be drinking very early and will be loaded up by game time. If the Pats get down early and show the same lethargy that they showed in Pittsburgh, the fans WILL turn on the team....and the team deserves it, or maybe it's not the team that deserves it - it's the ownership that deserves it for their pennywise/pound foolish strategy of drafting and free agent signings....

the giants defense has become a sieve in the running game......and they lead the league in sacks.......

watch as brady throws the ball 50 times and the pats score 16 points

SOMEBODY didn't have their morning Cup O Joe....

Calm down....

I'll try harder to be a nice fan....;)

I'm such an idiot that I was thinking "Why would Peyton Manning be talking about the Pats game already?"

Better than me. I was thinking "Didn't Archie retire decades ago ?"

I just have a feeling that the pats defense is hearing all this disrespect from around the league and is going to put up a solid game on Sunday to quiet the opinions
