Houston/TEN I doubt finish better than 11-5
The AFC west winner almost definitely won't be better than 11-5
Long as we fend off the Jets and Bills we'll get that bye IMO
We've lost 2 away games to teams in the top 8. We are 5-2. I see no reason at all to panic.
However, I would note that I saw nothing in Sunday's game that gave me hope that we could beat them next time without a lot of improvement. After all, they played us with almost all their linebackers out.
We would be the 6th seed and be playing at Texans (3).
Bengals (5) would be playing at Chiefs (4).
Steelers (1) and Bills (2) would have a bye.
We are far from out of it.
Did you watch the game Sunday?!?I don't know of a single person, on this site or elsewhere, who had declared the Patriots to have been mathematically eliminated.
Also, the tiebreaker with the Bills is not in their favor, it is incomplete because we meet again, at our house. We would be the 6th seed and be playing at Texans (3).

Still a long way to go. Ravens killed Steelers first time out. We are only a half game behind Pitt, so the tiebreaker will not necessarily come into play.Since they lost to the Steelers, I see the seeding as being 1. Steelers 2.Pats 3. AFC West Champ/AFC South Champ AFC West Champ/AFC South champ 5. Baltimore 6.Jets/Bills

On topic, I'd recommend everyone bookmark ESPN's standing pages, updates the playoff races literally within minutes after games go final.
