Really not sure why everyone is starting to panic at 5-2. Remember, when we won Championships our records were 11-5, 14-2 and again 14-2. We still have Tom Brady, perhaps the greatest Quarterback of all-time who still plays at an elite level and Bill Belichick who is one of the greatest coaches of all-time who still coaches at a very high level. Those two aren't going anywhere anytime soon and will continue to make their mark on sports history for years to come. Now lets look at what we have now and what we had in the past and compare talent levels just to prove that my point that we are just fine.

Tom Brady - Still here and still an elite player, even better than 01, 03 and 04
BenJarvus Green Ellis "Law-Firm" at his best > Antoine Smith and JR Redman but < Corey Dillon still
Kevin Faulk - Still here and still a good football player
Wes Welker > Troy Brown
Deion Branch - Still here, and still a very good receiver
Chad Ochocinco (focused, motivated, playbook learned and at his absolute best) > David Givens, Troy Brown or David Patten
Danny Woodhead healthy and back to form > Kevin Faulk
Rob Gronkowski by far > Christian Fauria or Jermaine Wiggins
Aaron Hernandez by far > Ben Watson or Daniel Graham
Logan Mankins > Any lineman we've had in years
Matt Light - Still here and still good
Sebastian Vollmer by far > Tom Ashworth
Dan Connolly < Damien Woody
Brian Waters > over anybody else we've had in the recent past
Albert Haynesworth (focused, healthy, aggresive and at his absolute all-pro very best, defensive end or tackle) > Richard Seymour .. love Seymour but it's true when this guy's switch is turned on.. Deadly
Vince Wilfork "Wilfork's island" > Ted Washington
Andre Carter > Jarvis Green
Shaun Ellis (when playing like himself and at his very best) > Ty Warren
Jerod Mayo (top 5 reaching is peak prime) = or even > Tedy Bruschi
Brandon Spikes (when healthy, focused, and making explosive plays) > Ted Johnson .. much better athlete then Ted
Rob Ninkovich < Mike Vrabel, Rosevelt Colvin ????????? no replacement
Willie McGinest ????????? no replacement
Devin McCourty (when playing focused, at his very best and like we know he can from what he showed us) = young Ty Law and > risky Asante Samuel
Kyle Arrington (really has let his game loose, naturally gifted rising star)
Patrick Chung (what he can be at his full potential, and at his absolute very best) = or even > Rodney Harrison IMO

So as you can see, we don't have a shortage in talent in fact we have even more talent than previous years, we just have to put it all together. It takes a little while for a team to develop good chemistry especially with alot of injuries and roster moves.. But I think sooner than later, we'll get it together and gel the way we should... To conclude, don't worry we will be fine because we have all the tools neccesary to have a successful post season run.

Some of these homers are absolutely insane.

We have more talent than previous years??????? Really?????? I don't know what you are on, but give me a handfull. What talent do we have on defense??? Molden who was pulled in the 3rd quarter??? Adams who replaced him ??? Ihedigbo who blew coverage on several plays ???????? Spikes who Miller makes one move on is free twice????? Sergio Brown who runs from 15 yards off the line to pressure Ben and leaves a huge hole in the Zone?????? Haynesworth who had an assist on a tackle ???????? Ellis who left the game after doing nothing ???????

when will people begin to understand that the NFL (both the type of player and the rules) have changed since the beginning of the dynasty. This team has changed and so has every single other team in the NFL. You can't compare players from this team to those teams based on potential especially when were talking about Kyle Arrington, Antoine Moulden etc. The way this team is set up, we aren't going to win anything without some major improvements. I hate to question BB but I definitely question some of the "talent" on this team and whether or not they could start for the other elite teams. Not saying great teams don't have week links but when your week link is a combination of 4 players on the back end and a few up front leaving you with the worst pass defense in the NFL, you aren't elite. Teams will continue to play bump and run with our receivers until someone on this team learns to consistently threaten man to man deep.

Get me some of whatever this guy is smoking.

don't have that, but I do have some hash brownies. Good chance it'll make you think Mark Anderson is the reincarnation of Willie Mac

Devin McCourty > Ty Law??????

Patrick Chung > Rodney Harrison?????

WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING?

Agree with you. When he says something that stupid, it's hard to take anything else he says seriously. I'm demoting the petty officer to seaman. He's really saying they're equal. But, that's just unbelievable non-sense. Ty Law and Rodney will make the HOF. You can't compare two struggling db's with talent to two HOF players with multiple rings. Come on man!!!

Refuse to believe this is real...

Thanks for the laugh. I spit my water out at 85 > Givens

He has like 8 catches halfway through the season hahahah

I decided to add to the list.

Arrington > Law
Ihedibo(at full strength and fully motivated) > Rodney
Patricia > Crennel
White (when staying at a Holiday Inn Express) > McGinnest

when the pats were winning SB's Ty Law was the best CB in the NFL even better then Darrelle Revis is right now, Devin McCourty has given up all most a 1000 yards so far i dont think Ty Law ever give up 1000 yards in any full season in he's career

ummm no,no we don't.

The only upgrade we have are TE's and that's about it.

Im speechless. The OP is a bigger homer than me. :bricks:

Put down the BONG and step away from the keyboard!

Devin McCourty has given up all most a 1000 yards so far

I think this might be the most obviously made-up stat I've seen in a while. Prior to the Steelers game, PFF blamed McCourty for 496 yards. McCourty would've had to give up all 365 of Ben's passing yards this past week to get to 861, which I'd classify as almost "all most a 1000 yards." And I'm willing to bet he didn't give up all 365 of those yards. Maybe like 60 on the pessimistic end. That doesn't even put him over 600.
