Only one safe is Chung. How about McCourty and Sergio?

Well if we were talking about any other team besides the Patriots then you could assume Chung would be safe. However since the goal this past offseason and now continuing into the season seems to be is to release any halfway decent DBs and replace them with castoffs and and scrubs, you would have to assume that Chung will be the next to go followed shortly after that by McCourty.

As I posted before on another thread, it could be chung or may be BB is now cleaning house on our LB corps, may be spikes ... ;)

Ofcourse, it is not funny

Chung, McCourty and Arrington are safe. The rest should probably be renting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mayo or Wilfork are cut.

Chung or Arrington will probably get cut because they're the only ones left that's playing pretty well.

The key is whoever is tweeting the most....
So not a CB or safety but Eldelman.... A healthy scratch.... the bell tolls. ..

I can see Chung gone tomorrow...we can those a homeless bum off the street back there. Might be better than what we have

Chung : failure to properly tie shoes
Arrington : is giving out lame candy for Halloween
McCourty : pants make that "swishy" noise
Ihedigbo : keeps getting the hiccups
Mouldin : is a close talker

CUT THEM ALL!

We need to run more of the wildcat.

Maybe give Brady some snaps at safety.

I would say after releasing Sanders and Merriweather for Ihedigbo, that Ihedigbo is the safe one, Chung is too good and proven to be safe.

Chung's not that good. He's solid against the run, but he's still garbage against the pass. He's safe.

You think that McCourty and Arrington should be worried about their jobs? o_0

Even if McCourty hadn't been good yesterday (which he was), that would still make no sense.

What does Jason McCourty have to do with the Patriots?

Bodden was mediocre too, experience and occasional good games are enough to get cut on this secondary.

So I guess Larry David is in charge of our personnel moves. That would explain a lot.

Agree with this 100%. He is friendly with the media so they hype him, but Chung does not make many plays against the pass. Why do people think he is good? One big game against Miami a year ago?

Aside from Patrick Chung, the New England Patriots have the following murderer's row of talent at safety:

Josh Barrett
Sergio Brown
James Ihedigbo
Brett Lockett (IR)

Since it's Halloween, that is some pretty scary stuff!
