There has been no hiding the fact that I have an unhealthy infatuation (in a football sense, not a gay sense, "not that there's anything wrong with that") with Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johsnon, but watching him in today's Bowl game, all I have to say is WOW. This guy is going to be a game breaker ! 6'5" 230, 4.35 speed, great hands and strength, great route running, excellent character, etc. I've already seen some mock drafts where Johnson get's picked in the top 2 overall (Brady Quinn #1 and Johnson #2). Seriously, I know we have needs elsewhere, but I would trade both #1 picks, and a #2 to the Raiders to get the #1 pick overall and draft this guy. I haven't been this impressed with a college WR in quite some time.
Calvin Johnson would definately put us over the edge, our offense would be incredible. There are other WR's I'd love to see on the Pats, and we may wind up with one, but this guy is above and beyond anything I've seen in years. I know college success doesn't always translate to pro success, but I think this kid is a can't miss.
