Once again NO catches for Ocho....At this point, he isn't even our 5th best offensive weapon....Just can't imagine BB keeping him around.....

He will stay, and yet we let half of the players we were depending on in out secondary go. Makes sense right.

Price is slowly being worked in. If Brady hadn't thrown that feeble duck, maybe he makes the play and seizes the WR3 slot outright.

If he stinks next game and isn't released then he has a gay relationship with BB.

He is old, slow, lost, and just seems totally disinterested!!! Cut him!!!

Chad Johnson has officially become Chad Ochostinko!

Calling Troy Brown out of retirement!

Yup i felt like Price had that catch. Brady's throw was horrible...was he hit on the play or what? can't recall.

Ocho is going to be 34 in a few months and kevin faulk is back who will get 6 or 7 three yard rec per game so anyone looking for Ocho to do anything for this team will be let down

You know how bad this game was? Not only were all the players not named Gronkowski invisible, but half the players that are name Gronkowski were invisible too.

Welker 39 yards? Hernandez 9? Branch's 36 aren't overly impressive either.

People that have more TDs in 2011 than Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson:

Brandon Tate

The only problem with our offense is it clearly lacks a deep threat. Ochocinco was brought in to be this person but he cannot do it. We need someone who stretches the field. This is a glaring weakness that the Steelers exposed. Next year we should address this problem in the draft. Can anyone say Blackmon from Oklahoma State? With a deep threat, this offense really opens up and becomes unstoppable.

Brady was flushed out up the pocket. His feet were not set properly for the throw. He actually had enough time to set his feet and make an accurate throw, but it looked like he was getting nervous because of the Steelers defenders chasing him.

Bingo ...........

I agree. The Ocho experiment should be over............except for the fact that I don't think the Pats have any choice but to hope that the switch will turn on at some point in the season. Branch is clearly on the decline--he's good for maybe one or two timing hookups with Brady per game--and Price is still a non-factor.

As absurd as it sounds, it still doesn't make any sense to cut Ocho right now. (But then again, how much sense did cutting Bodden make?)

Deep threats are overrated. It takes one hell of a deep threat to beat press man with a safety over the top, and that's what the Pats had trouble with today. What they really need is a guy who can run a 14 yard dig or comeback on 3rd and 13, which is what Ocho has done his whole career and still has the physical ability to do. He just needs to get on the same page as Brady, which isn't quite there yet.

a WR's job is to get open and catch the football

the catch? if the ball is not thrown to you when you DO get open, or if its thrown HORRIBLY, you arent gonna catch it no matter WHAT you do

this game was on brady, Ocho was open multiple times, and brady missed him, going for usually a much worse read

on that one deep ball on a post parttern by Ocho, he was going sideways, and Brady overthrew on a streak route

absolutely horrible-this week Ocho's invisibility is not his fault

Even the most ardent Ocho supporter is going to find it hard to defend him at this point in time.

Would be nice if Ocho could get one game winning play under his belt......heck, I'd settle for a few catches to move the chains in a game....

Same threads all the time..win or lose, same f'n threads all the time..the best message board ever is nearing the ramp, wearing a leather jacket on water skis and heading toward the shark.

Prediction: He's sent packing this week.
