Good article. I'll assume it was ghost-written.

Not much of a column. He just reported what happened yesterday and threw in some quotes. So it has gotten to the point now as long as he's not BB bashing (again) it's a good article? No wonder this ass clown keeps his job.

You know what? You may be right.

Borges has a valid point - the Pat's cannot have that degree of personal fouls and other penalties in the playoffs where there is likely to be trash-talking, dirty play and questionable late hits. However fortunately Belichick has an opportunity to clear those problems up this week. Belichick also made a point of saying how much he respected Ed Hochuli and his crew.

Just because Borges doesnt fondle the Pats like Fred Smerlas does, doesnt mean he cant write good articles. I find it amusing that most Pats fans judge a media member by how much he cheers for their Patriots.

Borges has been putting out good articles for many years.

You must have really loved that asskisser Will McDonut and his "hardhitting reporting" as he constantly blew Giants Coach Bill Parcells and tried to get trasffered to the Big Apple. where he could hobnot and report scoops on the discovery of painful hangnails of the celebrity "stars"...

Give me a break. wRONg is an perfect cloacal cavity. He'll never suffer from Hemmoroids...

Good articles?

I was scanning this article for a reference to the Vinnie pass to find Wrong’s thoughts.

I remember reading On Football in the Globe when Vinnie was backup for the Jets. There was a glowing section on Herm, who was quoted as saying he would put Vinnie in the game if they were way ahead and try to get him a TD throw. The article when on to say something to the effect of that’s the kind of guy Herm is and “that’s why players love to play for him.” I thought that was an odd comment to have in On Football and looked up at the byline and saw Wrong’s name. Then I got it – a Wrong agenda and a veiled shot at BB.

So I was amused when Wrong trashed last year’s Flutie kick as an insulting stunt in poor taste and I wondered how Wrong would react if Herm had coached the same play.

Should we now expect Wrong to write that with the Vinnie TD pass that we have a clear example of why players love to play for BB?

Will broke stories like no other. He was great.

That's Borges' style, and one reason his work is probably not used to teach prospective sportswriters in college journalism classes. The truth is, Borges is a LOUSY writer. He's wordy. He's allergic to making a point quickly.

A typical newspaper column is 18-20 column inches. Some of Borges' "columns" are three times longer. In other words, he takes 60 column inches to make the same point a good writer could make in 20.

He is good at stirring up ****storms, which is the only reason he's still employed.
