I know that sounds crazy but when a coach leads a team to three super bowl titles, four appearances and an infinite amount of division crowns he should be questioned. Letting go of Seymour and drafting that JAG Solder is unheard of. Randy Moss being cut only lead to a pathetic 14-2 record with a first ever unanimous MVP. But the worst mistake of all may be cutting Bodden who was the leader for his thirty second ranked pass defense. Bodden's level of play could only be matched by Wilfork. I say fire him before the season even ends as it is already over.:)

No one is suggesting he gets fired. BB is not God and therefore his moves can be questioned. I'm sure he questions some of his moves too.

If we all agree with everything BB does then this forum would be pretty pointless. Don't you think??

When you do not know the outcome of his latest move there isn't a need to question.

Definitely don't want Belichick the coach fired, to suggest he should be fired is beyond idiotic. That being said some of his personnel decisions are questionable to say the least.

My Firefox browser literally just crashed when I opened this thread. I restarted Firefox and here I am to tell you that you are on crack. I'm drunk right now and I have more sense than you right now. This is so sad. Yes Belichick may make mistakes here and there but when he cuts someone you better damn well believe it's for a good reason. If he cuts Bodden then Bodden is done. He won't have success anywhere else mark my words.

Yeah you bring up Randy Moss. I thought he was crazy to cut him last year but look at Randy now. He is done. Belichick knows what the hell he is doing. I know it's shocking that he would cut a "great CB" and you're having a knee jerk reaction but he always does what is best for the team. You'll see.

Does that mean I'm happy with the defense? No. But I'll always trust Bill to do what's best for the team . . . . . . unless it's draft day and he still refuses to draft a pass rushing outside linebacker ;)

i think your head coach knows what he's doing as far as winning the division

it seems after that goal gets accomplished the rest falls apart lately

I think there is a small chance this thread is based on a sarcastic tone ::snob:

he certainly always puts his players in position to win at least , even in most playoff games

seems like he should stick to coaching though

On a serious note though,we do need some help on getting the right Free Agents to play here as well as getting some better insight at WR and the secondary when it comes to the draft in those positions which is a weak spot.

Is there a brilliant football guy OFF the field like Bill is ON the field?

Get Belichick and that guy together and this team will demolish the competition.

I defiantly think his time has come :)
I mean BB is getting old, and he probably naps a lot. He probably doesn't even know he let Bodden go. Im sure he just mumbled " Lets get bold and go", but the staff didn't understand him.

sure he has
3× AP NFL Coach of the Year (2003, 2007, 2010)
NFL 2000s All-Decade Team
5× Super Bowl champion (XXI, XXV, XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX)
Regular season 167–95–0
Postseason 15–6
Career record 182–101–0
Super Bowl wins 2004 Super Bowl XXXIX
2003 Super Bowl XXXVIII
2001 Super Bowl XXXVI
Championships won 2007 AFC Championship
2004 AFC Championship
2003 AFC Championship
2001 AFC Championship

but even John Wayne knew when to hang it up and made the movie The Shootist". Eeer..Not sure where Im going with that.

I say BB just wins to much, which creates despair and depression. I mean how bad did you guys feel when you lost the SB and didn't completely the 19-0 perfect season. We in New Orleans care for your fans to much to have you feel that way again.

A better substitute would be Tony Sparano. He should be looking for a job really soon, and you can comfortably sit on the couch and not expect to much, and not be disappointed.

Not that Im saying to bring him to the Vet and have him put down right now. No let the old guy have fun winning games and get you to the playoffs again, then when you make the SB again, and only if we are in it, because we care.

quietly take him to another stadium and have him put down. Hire Sparano, sit back and have a comfortable thought free SB, with out the worry or expectations. After all Im sure your fans know football better than him at this point, he's clearly doing crazy things that make no sense :)

Once Tony Sparano becomes officially available, I'm all for firing Belichick and hiring Sparano.

But seriously, if Belichick quit tomorrow who would you want to the Patriots to hire as the new HC?

Josh McDaniels?
Eric Mangini?
Bill Cowher?
Dante Scarnecchia?

A thread like this should only come after a loss.

I'd just like to say to the OP

Well what about Rex Ryan, he could be avalible soon.

Or Pete Carroll, who can get them all "pumped and jacked"....

Tony Sparano, bleep him.
Let's aim high and go for Coach Cadwell.
He might not get fired due to many issues, but we have the draft picks to pry him away.
Let's do it and run this bozo out.

yes, he must go, along with Tom and Wes

Mods, please move to the Red Sox Forum.

Reread the thread's original post slowly. Then make sure the sarcasm meter is turned on.
