It was awesome to see that the fire of desire was burning bright yesterday. While the penalty yards for personal fouls were annoying, these are not normal for a well disciplined BB team.

What is great to see is a strong, passionate desire to kick some football tail against the Titans. Whether you call the Titans dirty or not, our team is alive with passion. You cannot win a SB with passion alone, but passion + BB + TB hightens our chances significantly.

Let's get past the JEST and take one game at a time, but let's just say that I feel that the fire will rage in Foxboro at 1:00 on Sunday.

Whats great to see is you know that the "fire" will be there to get revenge on the overrated Jets next weekend. They will blow these clowns out.

I think this team is ticked off about the Denver game last year, when they were much the best against Denver, more than a 2 to 1 yardage advantage. They had a great chance to win 3 in a row, and it didn't happen. They want to make up for that this year.

Also, for a 12-4 team they've clearly flown completely under the radar. No respect card, tough to say since everyone always awcknowledges the 3 rings, but nobody puts them in SD and Baltimore's league. That bothers this group too.

Personally I couldn't care less why it's coming together, but as I said elsewhere, good defense/Tom Brady. Let's play.

It was definitely a playoff intensity game that will have them ready for Week 1 - not that they really need an intensity warmup now that they're facing The Jest.

I thougt this was about the Song. What version do you like best?

A. Pointer Sisters
B. Bruce Springsteen
C. Robin Williams doing Elmer Fudd impersonation.

I kinda like the Robin Williams one.

Definitely Bruce Springsteen. BB is a Bruce fan.

The PAts are peaking at the right time.

Hers is a little something extra....I agree

Corey Dillon says he has been disrespected by a negative media. The Patriots veteran running back believes that not enough attention has been paid to his place in NFL history and his standing in the game. He wants people to recognize the big picture.

And that picture could look a lot more impressive after today.

With 63 yards against the Titans, Dillon would pass O.J. Simpson and move into 14th place on the NFL’s all-time rushing list. Dillon begins the day with 11,174 yards. Simpson checks in at 11,236. If Dillon plays next season, he will surely go on to catch John Riggins (13th -- 11,352), while passing Thurman Thomas would also be a possibility (12th -- 12,074).

Here’s why these numbers are significant: Of all the players currently ahead of Dillon on the list, only Thomas is not in the Hall of Fame. Yet few believe Dillon will receive serious consideration for the Hall five years after he’s done playing

I'm sorry, but I'm an old hippy -- it's the Crazy World of Arthur Brown ("I am the god of hell fire and I bring you ...").

I was HOT for that victory after it became apparent how cheap Mawae and his little buddies were playing. Corey ran MEAN and I loved every inch. The loss of Rodney is huge, of course, but we know that the team will be giving absolutely everything from this point.
