After the release of Bodden today.....how far behind is Chad?

Pats need to make room on roster for Faulk,Deaderick,Brace and Cannon ( If they all are activated soon)..

Any guesses which players are cut/waived/IR'd to make room....

I am hoping they keep G. Warren but you never know...He is the only player on the D line I can see geting tossed for Deaderick or Brace and IMO Warren has played fine since being called back so I hope not.

I predict Ochocinco's coming out party will be on Sunday. He WILL catch 3 TD's.:D

I mean, if you cut him who takes his place? The receiving core is already thin, he hasn't been good. Don't get me wrong, if we had someone behind him who Coach Belichick thought would be better he'd probably have been gone two weeks ago.

That didn't prevent BB from cutting Bodden.... just sayin :D

Even in his prime,Ocho has been a joke to the Steelers who have made him thier b!tch twice a year for nearly a decade.

That won't change this weekend

If there is any factor to win this weeks game, it won't include Ocho as part of it.

I really dont see any reason to cut Ochocinco....he hasnt been good...but the money is already paid out and cutting him would just be a loss....you might as well keep him and hope that at some point he gets it and helps out the team.

plus, who really is the alternative right now?? we really havent seen enough of Taylor Price to say he should be the #3 WR....

so, I say most likely they keep him, and maybe try to integrate Taylor Price into the mix to see what theyve got there.

So who are the 3 or 4 that are cut or IR'd to make room for PUP returnees?

Does Deaderick get waived possibly and put on the PS?

With Bodden gone, do they activate Faulk for the Pitt game?

questions questions :D

Is it really that hard to realize? Going to 4 WRs on the roster is beyond dumb. THERE IS NO ONE TO REPLACE OCHOCINCO.

Taylor Price clearly hasn't been good enough to earn any playing time even though Ochocinco has been terrible. Edelmen is reallly just Welker insurance and kick return fodder. Neither are viable guys to take the role Ochocinco has. He is here for the year.

You could have said the same thing about Bodden. Bodden was playing ahead of 2 CBs on the roster and 2 CBs on the PS. If BB is playing the best players, then his release was not about his performance or talent. What remains is attitude/behavior, and some writers have said he was not embracing his move to the star or slot position (where he was the starter behind Arrington). From all accounts, Chad is being a good soldier and not making waves despite his nonperformance and being relegated to 5th or 6th receiver (or whatever it is). Still if we look at contributions to date to make room for PUP guys, then Chad and his 9 catches and ST non-participation have to be on the short list. How much worse could Edleman and Price be?

Don't rule out any of Brace, Deaderick, or Faulk not ever being added to the active roster and cut themselves. PUP allows you some wiggle room to keep guys in case an injury happens in the first half of the season. If those don't happen, it's possible these guys don't make it.

Ventrone for Brace or Deadrick.
Bodden for probably Faulk for now.
Thomas for Cannon if he gets activated which seems unlikely.

Can't see them making a spot for two more DTs. Makes no sense. Seems like it is either Brace or Deadrick. Better player gets the spot, the other gets IRed.

They cut Bodden and the secondary is beyond thin. At least Bodden played....Chad doesn't really do much of that either.

They cut Chad, I'm dancing in the streets, I tell yah.

Why are people high on Brace? What has he ever shown you that say's "yah, I'm a keeper." C'mon....BUST.

As extatic as I was to see Moss traded to Minnesota I'd take him back in a heartbeat over Chad.

I think with the Bodden move a lot of players realize there is no such thing as job security in the NFL. Hopefully this lights a fire under Ocho.

How about neither? Which I would prefer, but it not a viable situation right now.
