Re: Jets @ Patriots, 1:00 Sunday, January 7th on CBS

Hoping for a patriots victory on my 22nd birthday

No, I won't be ready until the weekend

Kansas City's offense is the Indy defense's worst nightmare. Happy New Year you fillies.

Should be fun, although i was hoping the pats were playing on saturday. I think the dolts got the worst matchup they could have hoped for. They could have beat the jest, but facing LJ could get ugly quick!:D

Thank God it's not on NBC. We're 0-2 with those creeps this year.

Yeah but Indy should ring up 30+ points on their defense (see: 2003 playoffs, Indy at KC). However, in their last meeting, KC did win, 45-35 the following year.

It should be a shootout, but I still like the Dolts.

I am glad I don't have to work during the game. My biggest fear was working Saturday night and NBC deciding that Denver/New England was prime time material, making my store feel my Pats wrath for 3 weeks (at least these last two weeks haven't been bad, but there is still some dents from the "Pass Interference" call from the Denver game last January.) Now instead at work I get to see one of the best backs in the league vs the worst run defense in the league.

I am doing the international travel that day, first thing I need to do when I get off is to find an internet cafe... go pats.. will be proudly wearing the traditional BB university t-shirt when I travel.

Sucks for me- that's 2 a.m. Monday here. Of course I'll be awake and Slingboxing it. Hopefully- the earthquake in Taiwan has really gummed up logging on to internet sites in North America.

I am allready excited about it !!!

for me: beautiful

i like CBS and i like 1 pm games (for me h 19 - good !)

go pats !!!!!!!!!!

My biggest fear was this game was going to be Saturday night. I have tickets to Southside Johnny at BB Kings in NYC on Saturday and tickets to the playoff game. At least I can make it to the stadium by kick-off. Unfortunate part is I will be spending the night with some serious Jets fans.

I got myself really confused and thought the playoff games were going to be the week-end of the 15th.

Cool! Lets hope KC's aim is better and drops Pay-a-Ton in his tracks!

EXACTLY! Go TY!

Overall, interesting day-Denver OUT completely against the 49ers of all teams! And Indy had a close one with Miami, closer than most expected. Then we get the J-E-T-S,which imo will be a helluva game! The whole BB/Mangini thing, the crowd should be pumped beyond belief, and just a great way to start the playoffs!

Good matchup for the Pats. Vegas has them as a 9 point favorite over the J-E-T-S. That's the largest point spread of the weekend.

I have a feeling by the way the Pats exacted revenge on the cheap shot yesterday, that the Pats will dish out similar revenge against the Jets. I think this game will be an absolute blowout. If BB gets a chance to run it up on the Doughboy, he will.

Reasons the Pats will win:

1. They will be much more prepared for the blitz.*That gave them huge fits)

2. The last game was the famous Doug Gabriel fumble.

3. The field is not mud anymore.(Brady was sacked on account of slipping while moving up in the pocket several times)

4. Seymour is healthy. Last game he was just recently coming off an arm injury where Rodney nearly dislocated his arm.

5. Ty Warren did not play due to a shoulder injury and that necessitated Seymour moving to his unfamiliar spot to the left side.

6. The d-line got pushed back due to the above issues and field conditions.

7. Due to the debacle on special teams vs pacman BB will have them ready for Mangini.

8. The grudge match between BB and Mangini.

9. Are we going to see CJ return punts(I assume not in the redzone- those will be Troy's.)

Spot on. I was at the Jets game and Marquis "The Stump" Hill played for Ty Warren. What a major dropoff. Didn't stop the run; instead 'danced' with the OT every play. Got pulled and Wright played DE. Sey was injured affecting his play and he got pulled. Wasn't happy about it.

Perhaps the NFL is coming around to our thinking that Peyton isn't the end all be all. I believe that the early Saturday game is the worst slot "respect"/ratings wise.

I have never been so confident about a Pats win in any game since the 2004 season. THEY WILL WIN THIS GAME BY A LOT. This will be a rout.
