In other news, Vikings CB Chris Cook may soon be looking for work:

Released from jail on bail after being arrested for domestic assault over the weekend (which caused him to miss Sunday’s game against the Packers), Cook now faces the loss of his job. Possibly.

Until the Vikings decide what to do with Cook, the team has suspended him without pay. The team announced the decision on Tuesday night, calling the allegations against Cook “very disturbing and disappointing.”

Didn't know he was still playing

You know in his first few years,I thought he looked like he was going to become a modern day Lawrence Taylor...I mean he had 15 sacks in that one season that he almost looked like it was easy to do on a regular basis and his little Lights Out dance was almost becoming a weekly event.

Then came the Steroids scandal and after that it was obvious that he was not the same dominating OLB that many of us thought,it was the extracurricular activity helping him achieve that early success.

Now just 4 years later is a weak, injury prone Linebacker that may never even earn a backup spot on a team next season.

I don't know whether to feel a little sorry for the guy or say 'good for you,you deserve this'

I can't feel sorry for him. This is one case where the system worked. He got busted and never got the big contract he was looking for. Never performed the same without the juice.

he made it longer than bob sanders, good job shawne lol

actually......

the steroids positive test (his lone positive test ever) came in early august of 06 (start of preseason)

he went on to record 16 sacks that season after that positive test and after subsequent negative tests, but he was able to not get the suspension served till october of that year

he also tested negative several times during his rookie season in 05

I guess his mole didn't inform him on time when he tested positive.

The latter, and it's no doubt at all. That it happened to a classless tool is just icing on the cake.
