Hernandez

Before the 2010 draft, National Football Post had Hernandez ranked as the top TE, ahead of Gronk (2) and Gresham (3). Pretty awesome the Pats got the top 2 when they fell because of question marks, and they're both working out. (Easy to forget Gronk was a HUGE question mark because of his back injury.)

Id like to personally thank whomever passed the joint to Hernandez lol :D

Is there a credit-meter hooked up somewhere that shows who is getting the right amounts of credit?

Touchdowns don't just score themselves. I think it's clear to everyone who saw the game the impact Hernandez, Brady, Waters, Light, Mankins, Gronkowski, Welker, Woodhead, Green-Ellis, etc. had. The offense is becoming whole, and greater than the sum of its parts.

Lighten up Francis. I thought the catch was a great catch along with Brady's
throw. The rest of your statement is the obvious and I was bringing attention
to AH's catch and his technique on that particular play. Geeeshhh.

The ball security concerns me a lot, but if he can correct that(and he should be able to), he'll be incredible. He'll never be a great blocking TE but that's okay, he has the potential to be our Witten/Clark/Gates.

I've seen more than a couple people mention his ball security now. According to stats on NFL.com, he has 1 fumble in 75 touches; is this really a concern more notable with Hernandez than anyone else?

Sanchez doesn't have to worry about ball security...his haven't descended yet....

Biggest thing that surprised me about Hernandez is he did 30 reps of 225 compared to Gronk's 23. Just lookign at the 2 of them you'd think Gronk would be much stronger.

30 reps is impressive but I can see who Gronk did less. He has a really long wing span. Longer arms and the bench press usually equal lower reps because there's a longer range of motion. I think Jason Piere Paul only did like 19 and has a similar build.

Yup. Same reason Solder was relatively low, despite his awesome strength. (This link says he did 21).
