Re: The SUCK for LUCK saga (week 7 leaders)

It's between Miami and St Louis, hard to tell which team is more pathetic right now and I wouldn't be suprised either way.

The Colts are going to win a few games they've been competitive in most their games.

Re: The SUCK for LUCK saga (week 7 leaders)

i really hope miami wins a few games so they don't get him i watched him saterday it will suck if they get Luck

Let's not hyperventilate......I like....really like....Mallett....and that's just now. Let TFB and BB get him set up for a few years and I like our chances at QB.

Luck will be very good, but so is Cam Newton, the Jax QB, Ponder looked good, Sanchize....heh...j/k there to see if you were reading....

Lots of good QB, let Miami get who they get....it takes more than a QB to make a winner.....if a team sucks enough to get Luck, they have a lot of holes to fill....remember how long it took Peyton to get the Colts heading in the right direction....a lot can happen and a lot has to happen.....If the Fish get him, I look forward to seeing him twice a year....

Re: The SUCK for LUCK saga (week 7 leaders)

if denver would have started Tebow day one they could have been 2th in the afc west and not last

Re: The SUCK for LUCK saga (week 7 leaders)

Rooting for the Colts? Hard to do....but they are handing this game to NO on a silver platter so far....

The rest of the schedule is challenging for them- including tonight's game vs N.O. , here's how the remainder of the schedule shapes up for Indy:

Week 8 - @ Tennessee Titans, Sun. Oct. 30, 1 p.m.

Week 9 - vs. Atlanta Falcons, Sun. Nov. 6, 1 p.m.

Week 10 - vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, Sun. Nov. 13, 1 p.m.

Week 11 - BYE

Week 12 - vs. Carolina Panthers, Sun. Nov. 27, 1 p.m.

Re: The SUCK for LUCK saga (week 7 leaders)

Miami is right there... there only shot is KC the rest will be lossses

is their a lottery if 2 teams are tied at 0-16 in this suck luck contest?

If they played each other, head-to-head would determine the result. That does not apply here. Also, none of them are in the same division, so there is only one criterion left:

Strength-of-Schedule.

The team with the worst SOS will receive the #1 pick.

Right now, that is the Colts.

Head to head doesn't determine anything in draft order. It is all SOS, then division and conference records.

The field is thinning. With 3 winless teams out there, I'm x'ing out the 2-5 crowd. Assuming Baltimore takes care of Jax tonight, here's our anti-leader board, in descending order of haplessness. (Number in parentheses indicates games remaining against other teams on the list.)

0-7 Colts (2: JAX, JAX)
0-6 Dolphins (0)
0-6 Rams (2: ARI, ARI)
1-6 Jaguars (IND, IND)
1-6 Vikings (0)
1-5 Cardinals (2: STL, STL)

Conclusion: the tough divisional schedule currently gives Miami the inside track.

Nice work.

And, sadly, I just don't perceive any of the bottom ~ top? ~ 4 as having the requisite Staying Power to hang with the Colts and the Fish...Indeed, I wouldn't've said that of the Colts, either, but last night's work ~ I had to check to make sure I wasn't on the COLLEGE ScoreBoard!! ~ impresses me immensely: This really looks like a team that's mentally prepared to do whatever it has to do to suck for the entire season.

Even so...

A spectacular defeat like last's night's has been known to produce a cathartic effect on a team: There's something exhilarating about getting annihilated so emphatically.

The pressure's OFF the Colts, now.

Expectations have been OBLITERATED.

Now they can actually get to work...and start enjoying themselves, again.

I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly start knocking off some Wins.

So, anybody going to thank me for jinxing the Ravens? You're welcome. :)

I would love to hear what goes on in the Colts locker room at half time of a game like the one last week.

I think the Colts management is prepareed to go 0 and 16 knowing they are coming back in 2012 with either or both Luck and Manning.

Nothing goes on in the lockerroom, that team fails to make adjustments, they have completely given up. Keyshawn said it on MNF a few weeks back, do you ever see Caldwell move his mouth when he's on the sidelines? It's like he's just happy to stand there and collect the cheque.

Out of all the winless teams, I honestly feel like the Colts have the least prideful locker room. The Dolphins want to win a game, badly. Sparano has taken a beating in the press and you can tell those guys play hard for him. St. Louis has too much talent to go winless, they are going to win one of those divisional games. That leaves Indy, who I think have given up. Add in that stupid Cover-2 they continue to use and no offense with players who have given up. That's the makings of 0-16. Just look at the Lions.

Morale is probably low but clearly you've never played a game of Football if you think everyone on a NFL team has given up.

Also, the Cover-2 isn't stupid. It's just stupid how most of teams that use it have crappy secondaries.

Stick to Hockey, bro.

Go lay down and lick your nuts, if you have any nuts.....Troll

This isn't 2002, but you wouldn't know what happened in 2002 because you probably weren't even born yet.

Troll more please.
