San Diego's quick sand 2 minute offense today against the Jets looked like Philly v. NE in SB 38?

Leslie Frazier's Vikings, down 6 with 4 minutes to go against Green Bay, 4th and 10 and you kick to GB, allowing Rodgers to clinch game?

The meltdown that was Norv Turner and Rivers gets my nod.

Norv. Easily. No discipline on that team in any phase of the game. Have they ever practiced a 2 minute drill? Ever?

And Frazier was down by 6 with 2:30 left at 4th and 10.

Sometimes I get aggravated and I'm wanting to yell at the TV.

Then, the bye week rolls around and I watch inferior players and coaches stumble around... I can't imagine how much it should suck to be a Miami fan. Or a number of other fans...

I vote Leslie Fraser. Norv has his moments, but he's gotten a few teams deep in the playoffs. No idea what happened there in the second quarter though. And that time wastage was ridiculous.

Yes, we have it pretty good over here, especially with that Tom Brady guy. These bumbling teams make a strong case that the NFL has too many teams.

And the Vikes had 3 timeouts left.

I don't know what Rivers and the Chargers were doing at the end of the game, but they really did look like they had never practiced the two minute drill before, it was pretty awful.

Definite Norv. That 2-min offense was a joke. I don't know what to think of Rivers. An elite QB would never allow that to happen.

Noriega pinapple face did EVERYTHING F88KED UP the 2nd half. he had STOOPID written all over his pock faced mug as well as CLULESS to time etc. His days are clearly numbered as well as Jersey shore in Miami and puppet man in Indy.

I vote for the next guy that takes over for BB .. Boyee is he gonna have it tough ..

yeah i'd vote my guys norv and PR

worse 2 minute drill i've ever seen

It's hard... I want Frazier to keep his job because if they hire somebody new you don't know if they'll want their own QB. And I really like Ponder and want him to do well.

But man is he a terrible HC.

However, Norval was worse today. And how the he** does anybody put Rivers in the 'elite QB' conversation? He always comes up small like this.

The Chargers looked totally confused during that final drive. It was like a 13 year old trying to have sex for the first time. He thought he was ready after watching porn but then got to the p**** and didn't understand what needed to be stuck where. Frasier is worthless though. He should have been dumped after last season. When he ruled Favre out for the MNF game against the Bears last December then he turns around and plays him after telling his backup that he was going to start..to me that was gutless. It was dishonest. It showed no backbone or integrity. How do players trust a coach after something like that? I found it classless and thought he should have been fined by the league.

Norv is awful. Chargers have consistently under achieved for the longest time. I don't know why he still has a job.

Gotta admire a guy who knows what he likes and won't take no for an answer.

Norv has always coached not to lose big games. Yesterday was a big game, he stuck to his guns and did not make any adjustments for any reason whatsoever. It did not matter what the time, down, distance, or score was, he stuck to his game plan.

Plaxico Burress killing him in the Red Zone? No adjustment. Two minutes left with the ball and a chance to win? No adjustment. LT out with an injury putting more pressure on Sanchez to move the chains? No adjustment.

Those slant patterns to middle of the field for 4 yards with 1 minute left and 70 yards to go were a thing of beauty...if you had the Jets taking the points.

You know, if Rex Ryan was coaching the San Diego Chargers, he'd have like a bazillion Super Bowl rings by now.

Frazier had 5-ish minutes left and kept PASSING. Almost zero times giving the ball to Adrain Peterson. Amazing.

It's hard to overlook how poorly Leslie Frazier's team has played 2nd half all year.
On the other hand Norv's system has garnered less than 30 pts, per game.

Push........

IMO the difference is that Frazier has a team in transition, and overall thought it was the right time to bring in Ponder, who played well. I am ambivalent about whether they should kick it away, one of those damned if you do and damned if you don't.

OTOH Norv has a team loaded with talent, and he is a coaching idiot.. decision after decision sucks... why he is still a HC is beyond logic.

Frazier by far. The Vikings play calling has been fubar all year

The last Bolts drive was unbelievable. Were it Miami or the Colts I'll wager many Patsfans would agree with my impression that they (MIA, IND) were pulling a "Suck for Luck" with the inept 3-4 yd pass plays eating up the clock and a final throw out of bounds. Bad, bad coaching and Rivers' play was so not top tier.

First it was Shotty, then it was Norv... Perhaps it's time Rivers shouldered an equal portion of the blame. He's not elite. He's frenetic, mechanically and emotionally. He loses composure, he makes stupid mistakes, he's a finger pointer. Love to know what he was whining to Norv about as he left the field after throwing the ball out of bounds on 4th down not to mention wasting double digit seconds of precious time over and over reconfiguring his offense into mindless plays when he was supposed to be in ultimate hurry up mode. Of course the sad part was the look Norv returned like he too was simply resigned to fate somehow again snatching victory from the mitts of all his overhyped talents.

Rivers is one of those QBs that is impossible to figure out game to game...he is like the AFC version of Tony Romo

One game you see Rivers on fire, hitting Jackson in the tightest of places and Floyd grabbing balls that only he could be able to get...Rivers sometimes looks like Joe Montana one week and Joe Kapp the next.

Thats 1 reason why the Chargers are always a roll of the dice and never good enough to win it all...the other reason is Norv Turner.
