Brandon Lloyd traded to St. Louis!

Doesn't matter.

We have the great Ochocinco. We're set at WR

I think we messed up here. Having Lloyd on our team would have given us the badly needed Deep Threat we could of used, especially for the postseason. Lloyd's going to rot away in St Louis. Terrible choice by him. Pat's should have worked harder to make the contract talks agreeable.

Good news. Now the Ocho hate can dissipate:)

I am a HUGE backer of Price. If Price was a standout in practice he surely would take Ocho's place on the depth chart. Price obviously hasn't done enough in practice to impress. I want to give Price a shot asap, but Price hasn't done anything to climb up a spot.

Ocho is 33...his legs are gone. Sorry, I used to love him too, but he's just not dangerous anymore. He still has his elite skills, but his speed and reflexes are gone.

Taylor Price? What has he ever done. Furthermore, why did we even draft a guy who played college from a non NFL ready offense?

:scream:

Why Lloyd why go to St. Louis? WHY?

F McDaniels.

Why did they do this?

Is it going to help tremendously a 0-5 team this year with a young but bad QB?

Have fun Lloyd, I feel bad for you.

BB will give a vet who has a long history of production like Ocho every opportunity to be successful here and not be short-sighted in his evaluation. We saw that same evaluation process with Galloway. Galloway was eventually cut on Oct 20th, 2009. We are approaching that same timeframe here with Ocho. Not sure what BB sees that could exude some optimism with Ocho but I'm sure he's almost at the point of making a call as to whether Ocho will be be a playmaker in this offense in 2011.

I think folks are being a bit too tough on Price. There are only so many snaps for a 3rd WR in an offense that runs 1-2 TEs 80% or so of the time. It could be true that Price may not get the offense as well as say Branch and Welker but to say that he's clueless is a bit off base and premature.

The fact that Price can't break a lineup filled with slowish 30 + year old Wide Receivers shows me he just isn't the young stud I was looking for. You think other receivers Taylor Price's age like Hakeem Nicks, Mike Wallace, Kenny Britt, Dez Bryant would be sitting on our bench?

They just might.

Ocho has said before that he has NEVER been asked to read a defense like he has at New England and make on the fly adjustments accordingly. I do believe that he has physically slowed down a bit but I think the crux of his problems are that his head is spinning and his overall uncertainty of what to do out there is delaying his reaction times and reasons for his poor play.

Have you watched college football these days? they are all "system" offenses now. There are very few pro style offenses. You have to draft some of these players.

He still makes spectacular catches along the sidelines with double toe drags(no one on our roster can do that)

You're killing me

At this stage I'd wager I could be more valuable than Ocho. I'm 6'4", slow, and would probably drop most passes thrown my way.

The only difference between us is height, which I have the advantage in.

Actually, what he wrote was spot on.

You don't actually believe that Ocho is the only receiver on this who can drag his toes do you?
