Surprised that a Mod hadn't started this already.

1) The D played well today, overall.
2) The D got some decent pass rush on Romo, though they didn't contain him well enough.
3) Gary Guyton needs to be benched. Standing around watching Romo run for the 1st down was pathetic.
4) Ihedigbo is clearly better than Brown or Barrett, but that's not saying much. He missed a couple of key tackles.
5) Not sure what happened to McCourty's confidence, but it is shot. He was also such a sure tackler last year, I don't understand him going HIGH on Laurent Robinson. Wrap him at the waist and he's not going anywhere.

6) Aaron Hernandez went from goat to hero with his TD catch.
7) AHern and Gronk both played well today and that showed in the score sheet.
8) Brady missed a wide open Branch on the 2nd int. Branch had been "passed off" to the Safety who was no where close. Granted, Brady was under-pressure, but Branch had been open the entire time.
9) That was a great comeback at the end of the game by Brady and the offense.
10) The defense will definitely have a lot of confidence after this win.

I'm not confident in the KO returners after today. Slater fumbled and Ridley isn't the guy. Pats need to address this issue in my opinion.

Gerard Warren played great in the 2nd half. As did Haynesworth. If anyone questioned WHY the Pats got Haynesworth, I think it became patently obvious tonight.. What a beast. I just wish they could have done more on the Pass rush with it..

We 5-1 going into the bye and should recuperate Mayo, Dowling and couple of other key players. We going to have Hernandez, Haynesworth and company at better health and the Patriots don't lose coming of a bye under BB and TB (I think not sure about that stat). Good fought win let's beat Pittsburgh Halloween weekend

Edelman is their man for kick-offs. When he's healthy again, that's who will be out there.

I think that Slater is fine, but he definitely needs to work on keeping a hold on the ball.

I think Ridley did fairly well out there for his first time returning kicks at the Pro-level. He doesn't seem to be the long term answer, though, I agree.

I was surprised we didn't see Vereen out there, in all honesty.

The win goes to the D. Big improvement so far. Made the timely 3rd down stops, kept the Cowboys to FGs instead of TDs. Offense had just enough time to dig one out with the game winning drive.

Crazy game!!!

One other thing, BB gave the D a vote of confidence and I think it will reap dividends in the future.

Carter, Haynesworth, and Spikes were excellent.

I don't know why Fletcher isn't taking more of Guyton's snaps. If Dane isn't able to show it on the field, fine, but at least give him the chance. Can't get worse than what Guyton has shown, of late.

I still don't understand why Guyton is on this team .. I just don't see what BB sees in him .. He just has no INTENSITY .. He just lolly gags out there .. And his cute little ankle thinks

I think thats where Brady was going with the ball but his shoulder got hit, you can see it on the replay but not in real time.

Vereen was out there on a few snaps. He was on the closed end of a max protect set (Ridley was on the other end).

On another note .. Turned to Comcast Sports .. who do i see .. Curley Haired Boyfriend going on and on about the Red Sox .. This town is disgusting .. in my opinion

Does anyone have an injury update?

I didn't see anyone go down.. The only one who got dinged, I think, was Light, though Ridley not playing much in the 4th quarter made me think he might have been.. Though that is when they used a rotation of BJGE and Woodhead..

I'm just happy that the team won. I don't want to spend my work week, listening to the guys over at WEEI at work, complaining about the Red Sox and the Patriots.

Wins over the Chargers, Raiders, Jets, and Cowboys already. All teams in the playoff discussion. Awesome start.

Just from memory but I thought Brady's pass was tipped

They started with the Pats for the first 15 - 20 minutes and then went to the Sox and back to the Pats after that. Turn it on earlier next time.

Why isn't Fletcher playing more? He has to be better than Guyton doesn't he?

That is an excellent point. In another year, you can easily envisage BB electing to go for it on 4th down. Today was actually very uncharacteristic for BB. But he trusted his defense , and they lived up to his expectations.

If they had not stopped Dallas on that last drive, imagine the second guessing -- beginning with BB's after-game Q&A.
