He is very slow learning this offense. Has been a none factor and when he is in, he is either in the wrong position or getting penalties called on him. Would you cut him, try and trade him, or keep him?

he brings nothing to the table

Bub-Bye.......

Maybe Ocho and Brady can get some extra work in during the Bye Week.

I have been defending him to friends and co workers for so long but I really don't know anymore. Kind of wish thongs didn't fall through with Brandon LLoyd

No professional athlete who has played the game for as long as he has played this game should be taking this long to learn a system regardless of how complicated the system may be. We're not talking about him not being a superstar in this offense. We're talking about him not even contributing at this point. He's had more penalties and miscues with Brady this season than receptions. That's not just someone struggling to pick up an offensive system. That's someone who has seemingly lost confidence in himself and, thus, the coaches have probably lost confidence in him.

two words: Cement Head.

I seems like he's never going to get it.

depends on the situation...

if we can get a 3rd, trade him
if we can upgrade somehow, trade him

if its to simply cut him outright, no....but try out Price and see what you have in him...what happened to the slater experiment?

maybe trade him for a WR/KR combo, cuz our return game sure sucks

I said cut him.......but.....only if Price can contribute. If we guy in trade...what guarantee will we have that they will pick up the O quickly?

I say keep him. He's got experience in the system and although he clearly doesn't get it some of the time he is good insurance in case heaven forbid we have an injury.

If things can't be worked out to acquire Lloyd I'd love to see us get Eddie Royal, send Ocho packing for whatever we can get, if it's a conditional 2014 7th round pick I'll take it.

get lloyd and try to get him to agree to a longer contract pre-trade?

or no?:bricks:

It's becoming increasingly difficult to see Ocho becoming a contributor. The optimist in me says keep him.

Well obviously trade him if you can. Stupid to cut a guy when you could get something in return.

I'm tired of the Ocho experiment though. I was a huge Chad Johnson fan, but his team seems to be up.

I agree there are only so many touches in a game, and he is insurance in case someone else goes down..

Honestly, I don't think today's playcalling would have featured too many deep balls even if Moss in his prime were still with the team.

And that's coming from someone who thinks its time to see what someone like Price can do on the gameday field.

With the high winds, and coverage being used by the Cowboys, todays gameplan called for screens, handoffs, and occasional mid-range throws to our TEs - which is pretty much what we saw.

For those short slants, Ocho is never really going to be a high read over all the other options like Welker, Branch, Gronk etc. - his role ideally is to beat a guy deep, or in a deep slant.

While I've yet to see anything that suggests Ocho can serve in that role, given the defensive coverage in this game, Ocho's getting a pass from me today

(That being said - if you're going to see a change at WR, I expect it will happen over the bye )

I'm pretty disappointed because he really doesn't seem to be improving much, in fact, except for a boneheaded penalty, I didn't notice him at all.

Obviously you get what you can for him.

I really do like Chad, though. Like I said, I'm disappointed, but certainly not half so disappointed as he must be. I bet he doesn't even really feel like a part of the team.

The play when they had the bunch set to one side and just Ocho on the other sideline was so telling. He does'nt fit what they are trying do. Unfortunately they gave up a third for him so I would expect he gets more time. I would be surprised if he can contribute in any impactful way.

Trade him? ...can't be an option here

You wouldn't get a box of rocks for Chad...are you kidding me?
