#POWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Damn the kid looked good today blowin up blockers hitting guys in the back field. very impressive

Guyton.... not so much

Ughh don't even mention Guyton.

I need to re watch the tape, but he did look good. He also brings an energy to the defense which we need.

Beyond that, he looked hyped up and seemed to energize the others which was great to see.

Great at stopping the run. 4-5 blow up plays by him

Too bad he doesn't want to be here and constantly Tweeting about it.

Spikes was great. Guyton...not so much. Mayo can't come back soon enough.

Spikes has been looking good all season in the times that he's been on the field.

he was a good combo with mayo last year. excited at the idea of a much improved defense every week.

Thought this was Spikes best game so far..

Spikes energy is contagious for sure just like at Florida he seems like a natural leader. great to see. this was his best game as a Pat in my opinion hope he keeps it up

He was definitely at the stopping point on a couple handful of plays.

As for the Guyton comment. I'd have to see more, but I'd say there was good and bad mixed in there.

Fat Gresh is already pouring water with his "well, all run blitzes" .. how the fff does he know

Well said, gentlemen.

The silence from the Spikes bashers, hereabouts, is amusing. :D

It's a bit too early to say he's a SUCCESS, but this is EXACTLY what I've been forecasting, from Day 1...HELL...from Day MINUS 60.

thought he was fantastic today. a wrecking machine

He's obviously disappointed with being on the Patriots, and therefore is playing well so another team will trade for him.

2 things came to my mind about Guyton. He let Whitten run by him while he just stay still for a 3rd down catch. He still cover his guy while Romo scramble by him for a first down.

Actually I think they were all run blitzes. He still made the plays though, that's all the really counts.

Spikes had a good game however...

i dont know whether it was the design, or Spikes somehow read the play that well (my guess would be the former), he DID run blitz EVERY single play late in the game, when the boys were trying to run the clock out

not that difficult to find a crease and get into the backfield if thats ur only purpose, he could improve and actually tackle the RB instead of simply slow him down

but great game to him, and w/ Mayo should be a good tandem again....

#Powwwww

I'll admit it - I was starting to wonder if Spikes was "in it" but after what I thought was a fine game last week, he came up big in several spots today.

Glad I was wrong.
