Per a few twitters.

Vollmer missing this one is gonna hurt. Could have used him vs these OLBs.

Are we down to 2 safeties?
Was Brown injured?

Was Brown injured?

Brown was on the injury report with "chest".

Isn't Ventrone the third safety?

After him I guess it would be Slater and the CBs.

Damn! I wanted Dowling and Edelman back. Could use Dowling in coverage and I hate to see Welker on punt returns.

so cowboys get all their players back we lose ours

Dowling not doing much to quiet the doubters that claim he's made of glass. Not looking good.

THIS SUX

i WANTED VOLLMER ACTIVE I hope this Dowling injury stuff goes away:mad:

this game is now more difficult then it was before:(

I hate seeing Welker overused too. There were a couple tweets on how unusually long Vereen was taking to warm up on the field- I sure hope that is an indication that he'll handle that duty.

What do you want him to do? Play when he isn't healthy enough to be effective?

Haters are going to hate. If it isn't him, it would be Haynesworth or Ochocinco. Unfortunately, we have to live with the fact there are "fans" on this board that are rooting for Patriots players to fail because they would rather be right than see these player succeed.

Congrats on your "victory". If the Pats lose in the first round in the playoffs because Dowling pulls up limp on the game winning TD, it will be like your Super Bowl.

No I understand he can't play when he's hurt and that its not his fault. Its the front office's fault for not recognizing that the guy has a history of a lack of durability.

I will say that when he played early on he seemed to play well.

Isn't it a bit early to start with the glass threads?

no he hasn't played much pre season or season and I dont even remember him being hit hard when he got injured... seriously this is the year we needed rookies to produce on defense , especially when their a high round draft pick

Good to have woodhead back, and another week of Hernandez
