Thought I'd post his list because it's junior heavy. Gives us a rough idea of who may be available for the Pats IF some juniors declare. There are a couple of head-scratchers...

Bogus link, says the page wasn't found. Please re-post.

That would be phenomenal if things went like that.

To have the choice of two of McCauley, Griffin, Willis and Woodley would be great.

I thought Sidney Rice had said he was going back to school . . .

or trade up a couple of spots for Jarrett

I'm not in much of a mood to use a #1 and, say, #4 to get up to that spot. We used a 2&3 last year to get Jackson. We have receiving TE. We have competent 2nd and 3rd WR in Caldwell and Gaffney. I won't be horrified if we did what you suggest but I'd prefer to sign a mid level WR to compete for time with Jackson, Caldwell and Gaffney.

If the problems with Jackson are more serious than I think, though, then all bets are off.

As we know, BB won't hesitate to part with a 3rd for the right player.

Not too concerned about Jackson though, all he needs is a healthy TC and pre-season and I think he'll produce. I'd still draft another WR as competition (and insurance) for the entire WR corps -- someone always gets dinged. Doubt we go round 1 however -- better value at other positions around our picks.

Hope we go CB or S with one of our R1 picks. Really want a playmaker for the secondary.

I can't say whether Jackson will prove productive in time, but whether he pans out or not I'd die of happiness if Sidney Rice was in the draft and we could take him.

Agreed but I don't see him giving up a #1 and #3 for a WR unless he thinks he's some kind of special player.

I like what I've seen of Rice but S. Carolina WR will likely be the new Florida WR with Spurrier there.

Sidney Rice is aplayer...He would be on eof the top 10 picks if he had a decent QB getting him the ball. I am an SC season ticket holder and can tell you that he is special. Spurrier hasn't been able to put together that type of high flying offense he had at Florida yet because he hasn't had the type of QB he covets........Sidney Rice gets double teamed on almost every offensive snap and still managed to put up good numbers.

Any inside scoop on Jasper Brinkley? Is there any chance he changes his mind and comes out? Do you see him as a 1st rd prospect if he does, is he that dynamic? Thanks...

That's what my eyes tell me. They've been playing a safety at quarterback for half the season and Rice has still looked amazing. I haven't watched enough college ball to be authoritative but, of the players I've seen, he's the one I most covet. (Not that I would say no if Ted Ginn Jr came along :D. I think there may be a counter-reaction to him for the opposite reason -- that he plays on such a stellar team and is constantly hyped by the announcers. But he is some player nevertheless ...)

Make no mistake, I've liked what I've seen of Rice and I'd love him to come out this year. But with a comment of "Chad Jackson is from Florida, we should have known better", it is important to remember that S. Carolina equals the old Florida that those comments were made about.

If Rice comes out and we take him, I will not be upset.
