I'm not that surprised, but I'm a little concerned about his health going forward. When he came back to practice, things must have taken a turn for the worse.

Really sucks to lose Mike Wright and Myron Pryor. I had high hopes about our interior pass rush with those guys at the beginning of the year. Real shame.

Even bigger shame is this might be it for Mike Wright's playing career. I wish him well, but he seems to be very susceptible to head injuries. Can't take that lightly.

What a shame, and as others have indicated, his career is likely over.
Great talent too, one of the better interior pass rushers on this team.

Why use up a roster spot this week if they know he's out for the year? Here's hoping Brace can be the disruptive player he was in college in the 4-3. Losing Wright, Pryor and having a hobbled Haynesworth has sapped the energy from what looked like a formidable pass rush early on.

That may happen. The Adams move is all about THIS week's game. Typical Belichick.

Agreed, but they are at least capable bodies for depth. And Brace could shine in the 4-3.

1. That his health for the rest of his time is good
2. He is not on the patriots roster next year...for all those glass lovers he is the prime example last two seasons

Not a surprise, but disappointing nonetheless, for the team and for Mike Wright.

He was probably one of our two best interior rushers, and unless Haynesworth decides to show his former self, we won't be able to completely replace that production.

He was still recovering from that elbow injury he had late last season. He's hopefully healthy by now.
