Maybe this is just the thing we needed to get him here in New England ;)

A man can dream right?

Not as huge a worry for the Texans who have the division wrapped up by November...it's a loss but won't hurt thier division hopes.

That division is the worst in football in a long time,if you have to lose Super Mario do it when Peyton isn't playing.

Wonder if that NFL "nutrition" program had anything to do with this injury.

So the Brooks Reed era has begun.
It will be interesting to see how this polarizing player performs in the 3-4.

Remember how much flak all the talking heads spouted towards the Texan's braintrust when they took Williams over Bush? That's when I realized commentators don't know the fundamentals of building a team for the long term.

Dont count out the titans. Hasslebeck has been solid this year. Cj should find his grove eventually.

It's weird calling Super Mario a linebacker...

Whatever, this just makes an average team a little weaker. If there is a team I expect and hope we play in the playoffs it's the Texans.

Not sure how you can call them an average team. They just lost their Top WR 2 weeks ago and now they lost their best player on the team. That's gonna hurt any team.

Even with Andre Johnson and Mario Williams, you think they're AFC elite?

I think they absolutely have elite talent on both sides of the ball. Are they actually an elite TEAM? We usually wait for a team to win something before we say that.

Actually, it's a little more realistic than you think. Houston doesn't have the cap room to resign him, so we could trade one of our 1st round picks plus other picks to get him.

First of all, there is more than just "ELITE", "AVERAGE" and "THEY SUCK". There is "EXCELLENT" "GOOD", "VERY GOOD" "Above Average" and "BELOW AVERAGE". At least in my book.

You can discount the Texans all you want, but with Williams and Johnson, they showed to be a very good team this year. Not ELITE, but Very Good. Losing Johnson and Williams hurts them, A LOT. Probably knocks them down to "Above Average". They're going to have to rely more on Foster and Schaub on the offensive side of the ball, while hoping that Walter, Bryant Johnson, and Jacoby Jones can step up their games. They also have 3 very good TEs, those Casey is gonna be out for awhile.

Williams was the heart of their defense. It's going to be interesting to see how they react to losing him.

After their no-show in PitsDirt, I think we can count them out.

They will fire back with "Bush has a ring, Texans never made the playoffs." And you will have nothing to respond back with.

Heh, maybe this will drive down the price of Williams in the off season? ;)

he alone would make this defense so much better... :\

Losing their 2 best players is going to hurt their SB chances, although I do think they'll win their division finally this year unless Ten. comes from behind.
