Is Aaron Rodgers better than Tom Brady?

No. At the end of their respective careers, I don't see why Rodgers can't break all the records and win more championships. But right now, I don't think Rodgers is on the same level as Manning and Brady in terms of breaking down defenses, checking plays at the LOS, and singly willing a team to victory consistently. Rodgers certainly has the potential to be one of the best QB in history, but time will tell if he reaches his potential. There's still a lot of room for improvement in terms of football knowledge.

perfect analysis imo

If you take a current snapshot of what they are right now, it is certainly debatable. Careerwise? Not even close. Rodgers has a long way to go before he makes that cut. Brees, Brady and Manning are still likely the relevant active members of that group.

and another thing if Brady didn't have that 4 pick game this conversation wouldnt even exist lol

how many tds/picks do each qb have thus far? What about yardage? passing completion?

They're both awesome. I wouldn't complain if either were my QB. Add Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Philip Rivers.

I wouldn't want philip rivers.

Id take brady rodgers manning brees, in that order

Brady has more yards
Theyre tied in TD's 14 each
Brady has more picks with 6 compared to Rodgers 2
Brady has 30 plays of 20+yards or more compared to Rodgers 19
Rodgers has a better Passer Rating though

Telling you if it wasn't for the 4 pick game this wouldn't be a discussion

Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Rivers, Rapistberger, . . . , a turd sandwich, Rick Mirer, Vick

This is how I feel plus a couple of things.

Rogers and Vick are not on the same level athletically and Brady was the best QB in football last year not Rodgers.

Rogers is good but lets see him win a Superbowl with the cast of players Brady did in 2001 on Offense. Farve was just saying that this packers team is the best he has seen as far as talent and just think how Drew Brees or Phillip Rivers would do with this offense.

I am not cutting this kid up because right now Manning is sitting on the sidelines and Vick is throwing 4 int's so other then Brees, Rivers and Brady this guys is right in the mix on any given day....with CAM NEWTON:eek:

Yea but it did happen... thats like saying, if it wasen't for that missed sack on eli manning, we would have won the 2007 superbowl.

i think thats an unfair statement to make. Thats like saying "lets see magic johnson win an nba championship without his stacked ass teams." You see what i did there?

You have to do the best with what you were/are given with. If this packers team is as talented as favre says, why couldn't favre lead them to an SB?
Obviously aaron rodgers makes this team Go (Similar to brady on the patriots)

you know...if you take the O out of Bonzo you get...THE BONZ!

just winding down, B...no offense...when I see your handle I always think of the Bonzo Dog Band and that song Trouser Press

Two in one thread?! (Not hip to this one, though.)

Oh, okay. No problem.

Btw, I picked "Bonzo" because it was this guy's nickname:

EDIT: Just dug up on YouTube that song you referenced. Funny stuff!

I see what you did bro trust me.

Do you remember last season when Flinn almost beat us with the Packers?? What does that mean is Flinn due a big payday soon?? Farve really are you seriously going to ask me why Farve could not win it with the Packers well that would take up too much time on this Thanksgiving evening my friend.

Well that flinn game is a peculiar one... could be due to a few things.

1) patriots defense was not up to par and they had no data on this guy

2) he had the game of his life

or.. (the one you probably are looking for)

3) the packers make the qb look better than he is.

Only way to truly judge is to see more of flinn.

But i regress, i think rodgers is on a similar tier as brady (not all time obviously, but these last 2 years)

Well...Rodgers is mobile...that's something that Manning and Brady don't have. Rodgers also has wideouts who can make plays for him. That's something Brady doesn't have.

Take away those tipped passes for interceptions and Brady would have better numbers than Rodgers and this wouldn't really be a discussion.

Also isn't it the NE offense that has scored 30+ for like 13 straight games. What else can Brady do?
