No Brady again

A few notes from today's practice, which was held outside on one of the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium:

* QB Tom Brady wasn't present for the media-access portion of the workout for the second day in a row. Every other player was present. On Wednesday, Brady was listed as probable on the team's injury report due to his right shoulder, which has been his designation all season.

* Players wore sweatpants/shells/helmets.

* The print media was present for stretching only.

I just saw this on Cold Pizza. I am not too worried about it. It may reveal that Matt & Vinni are going to get some playing time at QB.

My response...

Brady had planned a Christmas west coast reunion with his former obsession D Bra... (Can't type the name) and is pissed at BB for keeping him here in the hot tub...alone w/o his wideout.

No, clearly this proves that Belichick is leaving and he's protecting Brady who is going with Belichick. Myra is fine with Brady leaving as she has heard he had *gasp* pre-marital sex.

Aside from that silliness - good to hear the big W boys are on their way back.

Unless Brady is a lot worse off than we thought, he'll take the first snap (to keep his streak alive), and probably play throughout the first quarter. Beyond that, who knows, even if he is 100%.

He was back in the game so the chnace of some serious structural thing seems low. I could see him being really sore though.

Thanks for that.....will someone please start a salacious rumor that merits his absence please as I have misplaced my imagination.

The NYPost is reporting that Brady is in New York and will join Belichick and Pioli with the Giants next summer. How's that?

It's a good thing that BB never plays games with injuries or injury reports or else I might think that he might just be messing the tiniest little bit with the heads of the Bronco's coaches (assuming they're coming to Foxboro in ten days).

Thanks for grounding me but I prefer my news elsewhere. You can live by that rag if you want.

Ummm, read the post that led to my post here.

Anyhow, BB is probably playing head games with Fisher here. Maybe Brady plays all four quarters and BB wants to win this game badly.

..or maybe BB holds a perfectly healthy TB out, mails in the game (except maybe for a late drop kick by Brewski) and is evasive when asked if Brady will be ready to start in the Wild Card round...

Brewski?

Brady can use that helmet to the back as an excuse to go out and sow a ton of wild oats this week ... get a sore back from that ... and blame the spear....so why should he show up to the media session and lie @ why his back is really sore.

Patriots | Brady practices Thursday
Thu, 28 Dec 2006 16:46:43 -0800

Michael Parente, of the Woonsocket Call, reports New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (shoulder) practiced Thursday, Dec. 28, and is probable for Week 17.

Brady, what a slacker

brady will hand the ball off to dillon 3 times in the first series and then come off the game most likely...
without practice BB rarely plays his players and if the pats are seriously game planning for TN brady would be practicing
