We traded our loudmouth diva decoy WR for a 2011 third round pick. And got a replacement loudmouth diva decoy WR for a 5th round pick in 2012 and a 6th round pick in 2013.

That's value right there!!!!!

Every team needs a loudmouth diva decoy WR and NE was missing that role for most of last season. THAT is why we lost in the playoffs.

Welker tried to fill the gap, but one snow angel and a couple of toe references in a PC isn't gonna cut it.

Someone, please, for the love of G-d explain to me this OchoCinco love. I specifically watched him at the game this past Sunday - the times he was actually on the field - he sucks. He sucks, he sucks, he sucks. Why are people enamored with this way past his prime guy?

He catched two balls - negates it with some bonehead mistake. The crowd went bonkers when he caught that first catch. Louder than Welkers bomb or Branch's TD. Frickin' idiots in attendance Sunday.

Yup. Tells me he's well aware of the criticism (how could he not be, really?) and won't go down fighting. (The "Waiting for the Perfect Man" avatar could also be taken a few ways, though perhaps there's a story behind it that I missed.)

A site called TheNoseBleeds.com reported that he had another tweet saying "If I'm on your fantasy team, don't trade me, I always start slow, I didn't lose my virginity until my senior yr. I kept trying so stick with me." But I don't see that tweet on his timeline anymore. Kind of funny, actually.

As for Ocho-love: I'm hoping he does get his act together for the simple fact that he's a Patriot. I don't think that's excessive. I'm also a bit skeptical ... you just don't expect a veteran to make the types of mistakes he's making. (I'm also in the Taylor Price is My Binkie Club and want to see him get on the field.) Either way I think you can never have too many offensive options as the season goes on and defenses catch up.

Ochocinco has not been an upgrade over Brandon Tate at all.

Believe it or not, even with his "abysmal" start Ocho is on pace for more catches than Tate had last year. Meanwhile over in Cinci, Tate has zero catches in 5 games and is averaging a pedestrian 23.7 yds with 0 TDs and a fumble as a KR.

By the end of the year, I expect we'll be able to say that Ocho was a very clear upgrade.

So, BB should call plays and instruct Brady to force passes to Ocho because he makes more money? Meanwhile, we have a top offense that has four options BETTER than Ocho because they have more experience in the system. It's not like he's making $5m and can't beat out a Brandon Tate. He can't beat out the best WR in the AFC, a guy in Branch who shares Brady's brain, and the best TE tandem in the NFL. I fail to see how this shocks anyone.
