Rather amusing that the two analysts are Rodney and Willie. ;)

Ayup!! Of course, Willie was driving me straight up a WALL with his endless rambling over how he would have LIKED Favre to've approached all this.

Rodney Brings It Home, though!! :rocker:

DAMN, I'm gonna watch that AGAIN!! :D

Awesomely awesome post. Thanks for that link. !!!!!!!

Thanks for the link. Basically sums up my feelings on Favre over the last 3 years.

Favre just keeps exposing himself more and more for the prick he is.

Yea, and he doesn't even need to take a picture of himself this time.

I miss Rodney and Big Willie. This is what the Pats are missing on Defense.

Actually, Willie handled it exactly as it should have been handled. It was perfect. He exposed Brett without getting into the mud and in the process showed real analytical skills by explaining how Brett was being foolish by not embracing his own mentoring.

Every time I see Rodney on TV, I wind up admiring his honesty and maturity.

Good stuff, I wish Rodney would have responded to Willie's inference that Favre mentored Rodgers, which DIDN'T happen. The funny thing is that I actually think Favre helped Rodgers by NOT mentoring him but that's a different discussion.

I knew Rodney would do well with his brutal honesty in his new chosen profession.

It's obvious that Rodney does not like Favre.

Personally, I thought the comments were much more benign. It was more on the line that those guys are so good, it's inevitable vs any dig on Rodgers.

Also, doesn't it seem that the Packers seem ALWAYS feel disrespected, lately?

Loved the whole thing. The end with Rodney was a great closing, but even Willie taking a few digs at Rodney's Charger days made me laugh.

And I didn't take Favre's comments as benign at all. You could give a lot of people the benefit of the doubt, but looking at Favre's entire career and some of the comments he made (particularly about never wanting to help the guy behind him take his job), and it's clear that it was a bit of a shot.

Like a typical prima donna, he didn't just offend Rodgers, but a lot of other people too by claiming Rodgers had a better supporting cast than he ever did. Imagine how Antonio Freeman, Mark Chmura, and company feel after that.

You can't deny Favre was a HOF player. But you also can't deny he's a HOF a**hole.

Willie revealing a bit about his own feelings after leaving the Pats? ...on quite good terms financially, I would say

I miss them too and paused as I felt that wondering just why I felt so. Is it that they both were both elite players and brought an attitude to their work everyday? As I think about today's Pats defense, there is no attitude, even by our current leaders, Wilfork, Mayo or McCourty. Who on our defense has an attitude?

Rodney is awesome! Always enjoy hearing him, especially when he calls out Dungy :D
