Jets Confident They Can 'Completely' Shut The Patriots Down

The only way to shut the Jets up is NOT just win this game OR win the game at NY in the regular season
....They will continue to talk trash until the Pats do something about that.

'THAT' something, is beating them in the playoffs

THAT is the ONLY way to get them to respect the team.

Its obvious by all the talk of that they respect the Pats, they really don't

We're a different team than they beat in the playoffs, we can run Sunday and also go no huddle to keep them off balance. Thats what I predict they're going to do.

The Jets will stay down after plays, just watch.

Thats how you substitute players and give your guys a rest. I surmise the issue of fake injuries will be a hot topic next week.

Who cares if the Jets respect the Pats? I'd rather that they don't.

I LOVE it when the Jets talk s***! They are giving Bill Belichick TONS of motivational material for his team! :rocker:

Well, considering how that turned out in the last playoffs when both Rex and Cromartie made personal attacks on Brady, I am not sure anymore of BB's and our team's capability to motivate themselves based on these bulletin material. Sorry!

Maybe they follow a strategy of ignoring these and concentrating on what needs to get a W.

Jets fans all believe our D is going to give up 400+ to that putrid offense. This would be an amazing week for the D to get some more stops than usual and shock those turd bags

It seemed like an honest and straight up article to me.....no idea what anybody in here could possibly complain about.

And as to being the best team in the division....I don't think anybody in the NFL would take the Bills over the Pats right now.....regardless of the week 3 win....

Ought to be a good game I think.

No one can really shut down this offense...even with 4 picks the O put up 31 points on the road in a tough divisional game.

The Bills will sink like a car in a big pothole on a Buffalo NY street...I don't see them as a threat to win the division.

I see the Bills getting buried by an Eagles team this week who actually has a worse OL than the Jets

The Pats will probably have a 1 game lead over the Bills and a 2 game lead over the Jets or the whole division (excluding Miami) will be at 3-2 by sunday night.

If the Patriots can really come up with a great defensive effort and keep the Jets limited, then that might be all that's needed to get them (and the meadia) to turn on themselves...he

tn sit back and watch the fireworks.:rocker:

Who in the f^&* is Mike DeVito? Their mascot? What an idiot.

Remember Joe Namath is the Jets icon/identity and they feel the need to make bold predictions...it's just the Jets sticking to tradition.

That's an interesting perspective, but I think their approach is a bit more cynical than that. I believe Woody Johnson wants a brash, trash-talking team so fans will be fooled into believing they're relevant and buy PSLs.

I don't see the no-huddle offense working against a blitzing team like the jets. Their answer would be to blitz more and knock brady to the ground. Brady will not be hurrying up to snap the ball if he has to pick himself off the ground often. The best thing to do is slow things down to account for and pick up their blitzers.
A good blitzing team like the jets and ravens are sending 5 or 6 players whether you use no huddle or not. Hurrying up too often may prevent the offensive line from been able to account for the extra guys coming, especially since ryan likes to overload is blitz on one side, sending more players than you can block on that side. I think a no-huddle offense is gonna get brady killed. The jets corners are good enough to prevent our receivers from getting open quickly before the blitz gets there.

Just sit back and watch it,sport...You're trying to talk yourself into something which you know is BS.

Uh oh...Herm Edwards picks the Jets in an upset...NOW I'm worried :D

Mark Schlereth sees the Pats in a blowout......

Pats by double digits is my guess......

anywhere from 10-20 point win......could be more depending on how much Sanchez gets hurried.....

We had bulletin board material last year in the playoffs and it didn't help us then. Let's hope we play better this coming Sunday.

he must have meant.....Danny Devito... :p

whole lot of confidence in here, not sure if I'd be so bullish on the Patriots....there are people in this forum that have not picked against the pats in three years....

i see a repeat of last January unfortunately

GO PATS, no stupid throws to David Harris, umkay Tom???????
